A thought about fan art
The focus in fan art on being as close to canon as possible is stupid, especially when canon is always changing and there’s no way to keep up with it.
Isn’t the entire point of fan art to make your own interpretation of what you think the characters would look like or how they would act? To be creative?
Just do what you want, canon be damned.
