Here’s some lore to explain what’s going on!! (I’ll make a comic for my version of his story someday to make it nicer)

After Jack got out of his box, monsters were rampant at the time and became a problem for human society. Monster hunting organizations were formed to combat the growing monster population, and a monster scare was born. As soon as a monster was spotted, people would try to hunt them down as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, Jack’s new visual appearance fit the criteria of a monster, and he fell victim to the typical monster treatment.

There’s more to it, but that’s abt it!! (He doesn’t die cuz of this tho)
