Fenrir and Seth were watching Alice and Sirius as they all cleaned up after lunch – Fenrir occasionally glancing over while putting away extra food, and Seth glaring daggers at them while sweeping up the kitchen floor.

“What is he doing, giving her all these meaningless tasks?” Seth hissed as Fenrir came closer. “Yesterday, he had her taste-testing new recipes! Can you believe it?”

“He’s doing everything he can to occupy her. It’s almost like he doesn’t want her to be sitting still for more than a minute.” Fenrir watched as Alice tucked away the cups and Sirius scrubbed the silverware clean, the two talking all the while. “There’s not much we can do to stop him, though. Probably has it all planned out, as usual.”

“Well, if you ask me, there are much better things he could be doing with his time. He should take the day off again and show her more of Cradle. Why, if it was me spending all that time with her, I would take her shopping! Or out to a nice café! There’s—”

“Seth, you’ve got tomorrow off, right?” Sirius glanced over his shoulder. “Why don’t you go shopping with Alice?”
