I try to stay up for announcements and things for the kid who was always so bummed and confused when she woke up and didn't know what everyone was talking about. I keep special places in my heart for shows and characters my old friends were obsessed with, even if I don't talk to them anymore. I have stolen my sister's vernacular because I miss her and we don't live together anymore. I have also stolen the way my favourite actors and characters say things because I have a love for them. I make funky earrings because my sister makes normal ones, and also because I loved Harper from Wizards of Waverly Place. I learned how to make origami hearts because my sister knows how to make stars, but those are Too hard for me. we are all mosaics of the people we love and I think that is so beautiful

I read a fic a while ago (hearing aid by thefelinequeen96 on ao3, I think, go read it :)) that Ellie got hurt on the right side? same side as Joel's stab wound and Ellie had made a comment of them matching. I didn't think much of it in canon since it was a fic, but Maaaaan. I forgot Ellie does get stabbed on the right side during the second game. baby can't make a joke that her and Joel match D: I'm gonna cry. baby girl deserved so much better
