and they help you with new projects. and get a say in your new hyperfixation. and get excited when you see something they used to love. they make sure you're never alone

Ohhhhhj so the childhood self doesn't disappear forever they come back as a ghost when you are struggling to break into adulthood and sit with you during your lunch break so you're not alone. Alright

every time i start to feel cringe for being too deep in the hyperfixation i remember the intense depression i have waded through and have to remind myself that enjoyment is fleeting (so grab it with both hands), and life is for loving (so hold that love close), and if anyone thinks i’m cringe they must not be having a very good time (and i hope they can find a good time soon).

Anna’s letter to ellie makes me homicidal like imagine giving birth in that world and having so much hope for your baby despite everything. When I read that letter in game I decided all the happiness in the world belongs to ellie. Everything is shit and everyone fucking dies but ellie has to be happy because I said so.

I wonder if all of Dina's questions on day 1 were her trying to figure out how Ellie would handle her pregnancy. like asking her "what if Leah's gone by the time we get there" or telling her how glad she is to have Ellie and how she would've gone with her, no matter what. I feel like she was trying to gauge how she'd react and tell her that she's grateful for Ellie
