How is writing a simple outline harder and more exhausting than writing a 60-page script????? Save me from my own brain
just realized u guys don't even know the full extent of the hungarian "banned items in schools" list omg. they also banned several weapons, which is like. normal. but they NAMED the banned weapons one by one which immediately makes it hilarious.
from this month, you are forbidden from bringing the following things to school: any blade longer than 8cm. shuriken. butterfly knife. crossbow. regular bow. lead loaded stick. nunchaku. slingshot. and fuckign. harpoon gun.
WHO was bringing harpoon guns to school so much we needed to ban it?? why would anyone bring a crossbow to school. so many fascinating implications here. picturing a 3rd grader turned away at the school gates walking home dejectedly with a harpoon gun and several shuriken. why. they didn't even ban flails and sledgehammers, that's such an oversight.

It's a foolproof method.
I would know. I'm a fool.

In this shot from “Asteroid City,” Wes Anderson's signature symmetry and meticulous framing create a poignant visual metaphor for the emotional distance between Augie, played by Jason Schwartzman, and Midge, played by Scarlett Johansson. Positioned in their separate windows, they are flanked by the vast desert landscape, an expanse of negative space that visually articulates the barrier between them. The emptiness between the two characters underscores their isolation as they long for connection while remaining emotionally walled off by past experiences. The casino billboard, a symbol of artificial hope in the middle of this barren environment, reinforces the unattainable, fleeting nature of the relationship. Through this distance and quiet tension, Anderson and cinematographer Robert Yeoman capture the melancholic essence of two people bound by proximity but divided by circumstance.
