Inktober days 9-12!!! I know I said I would post this the day after the last ones, and I had it done, but I just didn’t feel like writing all these words but now I’m making myself do it cuz I still wanna do Inktober and I don’t have much time left. Anyways, on to the explanations.

Day 9: So this requires a bit of explaining but basically I didn’t know what to draw for the prompt and so my friend was helping me out. He said the word screech reminded him of ghosts so I drew Jasper from Camp Camp because he’s a ghost.

Day 10: The prompt was Gigantic so I drew GLaDOS from Portal because I mean she’s like super huge and intimidating. If you just ignore the fact that I can’t draw machinery then the drawing might end up looking slightly okay.

Day 11: Okay so I wasn’t planning on drawing Niko for this prompt but I decided that I didn’t want to attempt to draw another thing from Portal and so I chose a scene from my other favorite game, OneShot. I enjoyed making this one (mostly cuz I just freaking love OneShot) and it helped me practice drawing Niko because every time I draw them I tend to heck something up.

Day 12: The prompt was Shattered so I thought that was a pretty clear sign that I should draw something from Steven Universe and instead of going with the obvious Pink Diamond as my character of focus I decided to go with Lapis Lazuli just because I thought it would look better. (Also I never intended the stars to be so symbolic, I just can’t draw stars any other way but hey it works)

So what I plan to do for the rest of Inktober is to finish all the prompts I’ve already started or still really want to do and hope I can have them all complete by October 31st. But yeah, sorry I couldn’t do all of them. I think I gave myself a bit too much to do being as this is my first year doing this. Let’s hope I can do better next year.

Hi everyone! The new “Best Of” compilation for the last few months of my game channel is finally out, and this time it’s bite-sized and perfect for sharing, which is why I’m gonna take this opportunity to not only share the video with my current followers but also reach out to potential newcomers and do a little #selfpromotion!

My name is Bee, and I’m a trans/genderfluid content creator who produces a few different types of content, one of the most prominent of these being my gaming channel “SnapCube”!

This channel has been going (almost) steady for a little over a year now and I’ve been so proud of its growth and impact so far. I’m so happy to say that I’m the head of a project that holds major value in trying to create an inclusive and peaceful environment for people who love video games and having fun with games but feel a little isolated by general… gaming culture? If that’s the best way to say it? 

I hope to include an even more diverse crowd of co-hosts as the channel continues and I hope to experiment with some fun conceptual series down the line that I’m really excited about. Basically, if you’re reading this and you’re not already into my stuff, I’m not asking you to go out of your way to watch it if you don’t think you’d be interested. But if all this does seem like something you’d enjoy supporting then don’t hesitate to give it a shot! I’d really love to have you and I’m hoping that my audience can stay as inclusive and kind as I try to stay with the content I produce.

today is Nov. 15. the FCC, under chairman Ajit Pai, will not listen to the public despite millions of comments in support of net neutrality. They are going to try their hardest to kill net neutrality, which in turn will kill the internet, which in turn will help eradicate democracy. it won’t just affect Americans, it has the potential to affect the entire internet, something we ALL use daily. you can bet your ass other countries will see america doing this, and use it as an excuse to do it in their own countries.

this is what buying a plan without net neutrality looks like there:

you have to pay MORE for features you’re already guaranteed to have under net neutrality. and in america, you already know how expensive everything is.

democrats AND republicans both want net neutrality. advocacy groups in touch with congress have said that if your members of congress receive calls from you, they are more encouraged and more likely to take action to stop Pai’s plan to gut net neutrality. after Nov. 22, it will be MUCH HARDER to convince your member of congress.

Why am I bringing all of this up?

Because mod is currently working on a kickstarter to publish a second volume of her webcomic, The Property of Hate!

As you can see, as of today, October 30th, there are only 9 days to go and we’re barely halfway there

Why should you care about Tpoh? Well, in addition to being a charming, heartwrenching, pun-filled and exciting adventure, it also features an extremely diverse cast of characters. The main characters are a young british-indian girl and her telly-headed guide (who is canonically pansexual, with both a girlfriend and an ex boyfriend appearing in canon). There are a wonderful pair of wives, a nonbinary main character as well as a genderfluid one, and all kinds of amazing twists and turns. Not to mention the art is amazing

Basically, if you’re not reading it already, you definitely should. And you should also help Mod make this amazing step forward into getting her story out to a broader audience.
