When Aang Doesn't Explain Everything

The first of a set of three colored digital drawings featuring Sokka and Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender. In each drawing, Sokka is depicted as he appears in book two with a sleevless blue tunic. Zuko is depicted in the dark clothing of the Blue Spirit costume with his hair short and spikey as it appears in the middle of book two. The linework in each image is extremely sloppy and unfinished because the artist has a personally vendetta against lineart today. Each image has a blueish grey tint to it and is signed "Gasmeros" in the bottom right corner. Image 1 of 3. Sokka and Zuko are sitting cross-legged with their backs together, and a rope binds them together at the waist. Their arms are straight against their sides and bound to each other's at the wrist. They cannot see each other's faces at this angle. Sokka has his front facing the viewer at a 3/4ths angle, and Zuko has his back to the viewer. Zuko is sitting slightly hunched, and from this angle, the viewer can see a small portion of his face. His cowl is still overing most of hsi head, but the Blue Spirit mask sits in his lap. Sokka looks slightly frazzled with wide eyes, but he has a slight grin on his face as he talks. He's rambling and has five speech bubbles surrounding them. Speech bubble 1: "I mean, I've seen the wanted posters, obviously," Bubble 2: "but Aang told me about how you rescued him from Zhao," Bubble 3: "which was absolutely badass, according to his story," Bubble 4: "and beyond, y'know, saving the world's last hope, you also kinda saved my life? We were super sick." Bubble 5: "So it's possible I've been pretty excited to meet you—"
Image 2 of 3. A top down shot of Zuko's lap, where the Blue Spirit mask has fallen. The band to keep the mask secured has been cut close to the right side. Bound as he is, Zuko can't grab it. The is a speech bubble to the right, where Sokka (out of shot) says, "—So I guess my point is"
Image 3 of 3. A bust shot of Zuko at a 3/4ths angle with Sokka as his back, a reversal of the first image. Zuko is hunched over slightly, looking down at his mask (out of shot) with wide eyes, his brow furrowed, and a small frown. A few drops of sweat dot his face, and he looks less than thrilled to be here. On the left side of his face (from the viewer's perspective), there is a cut just in front of his ear. The fabric of his cowl is torn where the cut is, and two drops of blood drip from the wound. The implication is that this is what caused the mask's band to break. Sokka sits at Zuko's back, his expression obscured by the angle. There are two final speech bubbles coming from him. The first says, "I don't really know you," and the second says, "But I trust you."

Okay so Dorian’s brother “maybe we are meant to wander, I don’t know”

Does that mean that Dorian’s ancestors were nomads of some type until they some how became nobles? Or is he saying that because they are air genasi they should be more free to live life as they choose?

As a black girl I feel like some of Suvi’s hate is understandable. I wouldn’t say she’s been making mistakes because they aren’t. She’s been choosing to do these on purpose because it’s what she wants to do. She doesn’t really care about how her friends want to go about things cause she thinks she’s above it (or at least at some points). Like the time to told Ame to not disagree with her in-front of people even though Suvi didn’t even give anyone a chance to say their own opinions. Don’t get me wrong I love Suvi, but she has some flaws, just like Ame has flaws.

Hey y'all, loving worlds beyond number here, and as a poc girl, I've been picking up on a lot of Suvi hate.

Real uncool of y'all with that mysognoir y'all got going on here. Let a black woman character be a human being who makes mistakes and maybe praise them to the nines like y'all do with y'all white boys.

Other than that though, listen to worlds beyond number and watch y'all bias. Cause this is a beloved show here.
