hello! so, im aroace right. and i recently found labels that fit me! angled and oriented aroace!

angled aroace - being on the arospec and acespec, not necessarily being 'strictly' aro or ace

oriented aroace - aroace but with an orientation (ex. lesbian, bi, etc.)

and i went to search if there was a flag that combined the two.. and nothing!

so, i made it.

i present to you, oriented + angled aroace flag!

Hello! So, Im Aroace Right. And I Recently Found Labels That Fit Me! Angled And Oriented Aroace!

please let this reach the right people and help it grow!

; hi @auseryoumayknow !! I use neos so lemme try help :]

; I think the easiest way to get better at using neopronouns ( emojiself, nounself, etc ) is simply practice !! And asking people how to use their pronouns. Whether that be how to pronounce them or how to use them in a sentence, people will be more than happy to help !! Really appreciate you being open to trying :D /gen

; also a trick I use is simply taking a pronoun like he or they that I know how to use, and replacing it with the neo. For i.e. Xe / Xem would = Xe ( he ) is my friend, xe ( he ) uses xe / xem and would like me to use them on xem ( him ) ! I think xe ( he ) should be proud of xemself ( himself ) :]

; this also goes for other pronouns like nounself ( i.e. moth / mothself, fern / fernself, cloud / cloudself ) and emojiself !! ( i.e. ⭐ / ⭐self )

; also quick thing .. Emojiself pronouns are not intended for irl use !! They're for online communication only .. Some people do have pronounceable alternatives to their emojiself pronouns ( i.e. Instead of 🍄 / 🍄self it could be shroom / shroomself ) but not everyone does ! Better to just ask. :]

; if you have other questions feel free to ask me through like DMs or my askbox !! /gen /nf

dyall. people. bitches. stop making a fuss over ppl's identities.

"but they have genderfluid and also mlm in their bio!"

fuckin. so what?????

"but they use it/its pronouns!"

doesnt affect you. shut the fuck up.

"but they use neos and emojis as pronouns!"

literally so what?? it's harmless!!!

"but they wont label themself for me!"

idgaf, not your business.

"but they say they're an animal!"

literally ok? how. does that affect you.

"but they think that theyre something that doesnt even exist!"

yes and that's very cool of them

"but they use animals and nouns as their pronouns!"

do i look like i care? no? that's because i dont.

"but they-!"

DOESNT FUCKING AFFECT YOU. OK. YOU HEAR ME??? IT. DOES. NOT. AFFECT. YOU.

YOU SHOULD NOT CARE SO MUCH ABOUT HOW SOMEONE EXPRESSES THEIR IDENTITY. IT LITERALLY DOES NOT TAKE A N Y T H I N G TO NOT BE AN ASSHOLE.

it is hard to explain but there is something so unwell about the cultural fear of ugliness. the strange quiet irradiation of any imperfect sight. the pores and the stomachs and the legs displaced into a digital trashbin. somehow this effect spilling over - the removal of a grinning strangers in the back of a picture. of placing more-photogenic clouds into a frame. of cleaning up and arranging breakfast plates so the final image is of a table overflowing with surplus - while nobody eats, and instead mimes food moving towards their mouth like tantalus.

ever-thinner ever-more-muscled ever-prettier. your landlord's sticky white paint sprayed over every surface. girlchildren with get-ready-with-me accounts and skincare routines. beige walls and beige floors and beige toys in toddler hands. AI-generated "imagined prettier" birds and bugs and bees.

pretty! fuckable! impossible! straighten teeth. use facetune and lightroom and four other products. remove the cars along the street from the video remove the spraypaint from the garden wall remove the native plants from their home, welcome grass. welcome pretty. let the lot that walmart-still-owns lay fallow and rotting. don't touch that, it's ugly! close your eyes.

erect anti-homelessness spikes. erect anti-bird spikes. now it looks defensive, which is better than protective. put the ramp at the back of the building, you don't want to ruin the aesthetic of anything.

you are a single person in this world, and in this photo! don't let the lives of other people ruin what would otherwise be a shared moment! erase each person from in front of the tourist trap. erase your comfortable shoes and AI generate platforms. you weren't smiling perfectly, smile again. no matter if you had been genuinely enjoying a moment. you are not in a meadow with friends, you're in a catalogue of your own life! smile again! you know what, forget it.

we will just edit the right face in.

"men don't need to be afraid walking around at night"

Unless they're black

"men make more than women in jobs"

Black men make less than white women on average

"men don't get followed around by people who mean them harm"

Black men are heavily policed and regularly jumped and killed for just walking down the street

"no one tells a man what he can and cannot do with his own body"

Black men are repeatedly assaulted and have their hair forcibly shaved or cut for wearing their hair natural and in culturally important styles. Black men who choose body modifications like tattoos or piercings are branded as thugs. Black men who have children and black men who don't have children are both regarded as players, hounddogs, absent fathers, and baby daddies, as if the logical answer is that no one's first choice of partner and father of their children would ever be a black man.

"no one judges a man's worth based on his clothes"/"a man isn't ever in danger no matter what he wears"

Black men are required to look presentable and professional according to eurocentric standards, push themselves into clothes not made for their bodies, and be highly uncomfortable in their daily lives or else risk 'fitting the profile' or 'matching the description' and getting detained by police AT BEST for the crime of existing in public. Black men wearing comfortable clothes are seen as sloppy, thugs, gangsters, street rats, hood and ghetto.

"no man fears rape"

The rape and sexual assault of black men ties directly to black buck stereotypes and black fetishization to the point where liking a black person or having your dating pool be open to black people is treated like a sexuality much like being gay. People are both threatened by and aroused by our bodies and that leads them to perform extreme acts of violence on us, including rape, SA, coercion, trafficking, and more. Much like how "tranny" and "lesbian" is a porn category, so is Big Black Cock. Sometimes with us featured as the rapist. Sometimes with us featured as the victim. Almost never with us featured as intimate, passionate, loving, tender. Black men are either to be feared and reviled, or to be broken and forced to submit. Direct ties to slavery with white people still getting off to our suffering.

Just say you don't care as much about black people's suffering and go, jesus.

I have privilege because I sometimes pass as a man? Try walking in my shoes for a while. Turns out being a black man vs being a black woman isn't always so different.
