Hydra hurt us, but he brought us together.

Keira Williams was a Hydra asset known by many as Reaper. But, after 2012, she was forgotten in Cryo. When the Avengers found her, she ultimately was handed over to SHIELD, where she would become an agent. Keira becomes an Avenger, but when Bucky resurfaces as the Winter Soldier and Steve wants to go after him, she helps Steve even though shes risking her home with the Avengers. Old memories and feelings resurface, but will it be enough?

Some snippets from the Bucky barnes x oc fanfiction I'm writing. It's called "Hydra hurt us, but he brought us together."

“I know who killed Fury.” Steve backs his head away.

“Most of the intelligence community doesn't believe he exists, the ones who do call him the Winter Soldier. He's credited with over two dozen assassinations in the last fifty years.” my mind flashes to a distant memory.

Two agents pushed me into a cage. On the other side was a man. His metal arm shone in the dim lights of the base.

“Эксперимент 502157234” (experiment 502157234)

I stood at attention at the sound of the man who trained me.

“сразиться с солдатом!” (fight the soldier!)

“да сэр” (yes sir)

“Солдат” (soldier) he motioned his hand towards me.

The soldier lunged at me, and we fought, but he continuously overpowered me. I continued to fight, I didn't give up, knowing what would happen if I did.

One swing of his metal arm sent me to the wall. A loud cracking could be heard.

“Достаточно” (enough)

“So he's a ghost story.”

“I'm making a recording.” clarifying what she is doing, She sets it down behind a car wheel and starts the recording as we move to the other side of the street. We see the winter soldier make his way down the street.

Another flashback pops up again. A happier one that brings me comfort often.

I was roughly shoved into a cell.

“выздоравливай, сука!” (heal him, b!tch) the commanding officer yells at me. I look up to see The Winter Soldier sitting on a makeshift bed.

I walk towards the soldier. “где он ранен?” (where is he hurt?) I ask the officer, but when I hear no response I turn around and see that he is gone. no one is outside the cell now. I turn back to the soldier “где ты ранен?” (where are you hurt?) No response, no movement, nothing comes from him, not even a flinch.

“Солдат” (soldier) still nothing.

“Солдат!” (soldier!) He finally raised his arm. Not looking away from the point he was fixated on.

I lifted my hand over his arm and focused my energy on my hand. I focused on healing the arm. When I pulled away he looked up at me.

“теперь ты должен быть в порядке … Soldier” (you should be fine now … soldier) I looked down, walking backward to lean against the bars of the cell, waiting for them to come to collect me. It was prohibited for anyone to use English but nobody was around to hear. –

He hears the recording, he's taking the bait, and he rolls a bomb toward where he thinks we are hiding. As the bomb rolls behind the car we start to get ready. “I make an LZ, twenty-three hundred block at Virginia Avenue. Rendezvous two minutes.'' I hear faintly before the bomb goes off.

When the bomb explodes, Natasha jumps onto the Winter Soldier's back and tries to strangle him.

He throws her off and attempts to shoot her, I throw an electric device onto his arm which shorts it out, before we run off.

As we are running she yells at the civilians “GET OUT OF THE WAY! STAY OUT OF THE WAY!” She suddenly gets shot in the shoulder and falls. I pull her behind a car, and we look around, only to see the Winter Soldier ready to shoot one of us again.

Steve comes running and jumps in. He blocks a punch from the Winter Soldier with his shield before he kicks him away, followed by him blocking a few bullets from the Winter Soldier's gun.

The winter soldier keeps changing guns. I tend to Natasha’s wound.

I hear Steve ask “Bucky...?”

Then the response “Who the hell is Bucky?”

– “Bucky… my name is Bucky”

I whipped my head upwards, hearing the sound of his voice.

I rush forward, quickly looking outside of the cell to make sure no one can hear.

“Don't tell me that!” I whisper shout at him “If they know that you remember things, you'll be put back into the chair.”

He nods, and he looks into my eyes. His beautiful soft blue eyes had no trace of the cold hateful eyes I had become familiar with.

But a sudden familiar pain started to creep its way up my neck to my head. I backed away from him, my eyes shutting closed. I gripped my head with my hands as I stumbled backward. I fell on my butt and groaned in pain. My hands gripped my hair, pulling some strands out.

I felt two arms wrap around my body, afraid it was the officer coming to collect me, using harsh grips, but instead I got a gentle hold.

For about 10 to 15 years after I was taken the mind-melding technology was not perfect like they wanted. It only took away someone's memories for a short time, even less time if something reminded them of their life before they were under control.

I look over to see Bucky with his mask off aiming his pistol at Steve, luckily Sam flies in and kicks The Winter Soldier aside. Natasha manages to get up and uses the grenade launcher he dropped against him before he can shoot Steve.

But suddenly he's gone.

We hear sirens, as we become surrounded by HYDRA agents. Oh no, not again. Rumlow comes out of a car and aims his gun at us. They all do.

“Drop the shield, Cap! On your knees!” Steve drops his shield “Get on your knees! Now! Get down! Get down!” Steve holds his hands up “Get on your knees! Down!” he kicks Steve's leg and Steve kneels. “Don't move.” Rumlow looks at the helicopter. A few hydra agents surround me. They put me in handcuffs. They pull me over to Rumlow. “Looks like we got one of our assets back.” he grabs my chin and smirks. They put us all in a van.

A.N - sorry if it's bad, it's still in the rough draft stage. I'm not even finished writing the whole thing.
