Hey, you know those rottmnt fanfics where Mikey gets stuffed into a freezer and the others think he's dead because his heart is not beating anymore and a lot of his blood is frozen, too? But in truth, he's fine and can walk it off because box turtles can just survive that.
Yes, those but make it shellshocked.
How doesn't love some fun angst?
Miles and Mikey get separated on patrol together and one of the villains gets to Mikey and stuffs him into the aforementioned freezer.
Later, Miles finds his boyfriend in the freezer, unmoving, not breathing, no heartbeat to be found. Having missed that specific turtle fact while researching his boyfriend's turtle habits, he comes to the conclusion that Mikey must be dead and understandably just fucking falls into despair. Maybe he even blameshimself for not finding Mikey not sooner, frets over how to explain this to Mikey's family, that he killed their youngest with his negligence.
Maybe he even goes there, delivers the body back to them because what else he's supposed to do?
Their reaction baffles him.
Instead of mourning, they warm up Mikey (they know what's going on here) and to Miles' surprise, Mikey rises from the not-so-dead after all. Miles rushes to Mikey and swallows his dizzy, confused boyfriend in a tearful hug, so relieved that he's not dead.
Everyone is happy again, yayyy!
You can be sure though that after this emotional rollercoaster, Miles always makes sure his boyfriend stays warm because he does not want a round two.
Ok so as a TMNT intusiast I obviously LOVE tmnt crossovers and I also love just making up tmnt crossover scenarios in my head however I will most likely never write and post anything
With that in mind I did still create a name chart for the different iterations that I usually think about so I'm sharing it in case anyone needs ideas
