Nox — Before his top surgery, being inside of his body was a personal hell. Afterwards Nox finds himself able to actually explore fashion, now that he looks like himself. There is a balance he feels he must maintain between cultivating the appearance he wants, while not looking like he's trying too hard. Least he lose rep as a punk. Of course, there are old insecurities and new discomforts. But they're the kind that he'll be able to get over with time.

Minato — With age has come comfort in both his appearance and place in his body. It changed with him as he left a stressful life, and pursued the family he always wanted. That is a fact he has an unusual pride in. He enjoys grooming himself and trying a more mature version of the fashion he liked in his youth. It also helps when his husband says he aged like fine wine.

Jinno — She has an odd relationship with her body. Feeling as if she has to ignore it to be okay. Going through mental troubles as a teen, she has landed on a body neutral position. It's just a meat mecha that pilots her around. However, it's still fun to decorate said mecha with a gothic flourish.

Or if you could sit there and quietly observe them for hours with more satisfaction than anything physical could bring.

You want to see who they are at their core. Your love smiles for you — they put on a brave face. They tell you off when you're out of line and they encourage you when you know your mistakes are piling up. They're the one who is always there, but there are moments you catch them unawares and that is when you watch them. You want to see the expression their face takes when they aren't being brave for you. You want to see how they smile when it isn't designed to lift your own burdens. You want to see what they say to everyone else. How they talk about you. How everyone else encourages them or if they let anyone be there at all. You want to see what is underneath it all so you can prove that's who you love. The parts of them they try to hide. The parts they think you don't already know and adore.
