Just want you to know if I ever write a book and there are meticulous metaphors, foreshadowing or underlying meanings in phrases and you point point out I will either

-be very glad someone actually found them

-be very confused because I didn't write in any metaphors or anything

Either I would have a hidden meaning in every line or none at all

Or maybe alternate idk my motivation fluctuates on a less than hourly basis

The idea of me reading this and fully understanding that joke is insane, like the entire meaning of that post was changed in 4 words, but only to one fandom. I wonder what the victorian equivalent of this would be lmao

I keep them by shelf basically by vibes, but also ones that share universes or what they mean to me (I have multiple 'childhood' shelves, also in seperate categorises) then there's the nonfiction shelf, the massive books I can use for flower printing shelf, the shelf for my favourites etc

I cannot stand self insert hate, what's wrong with wanting to put yourself into a piece of media you enjoy? Also I keep seeing OC insert hate, and that's the same thing. It's just a fun thing to do and I cannot comprehend how anyone could get annoyed by that, if you don't like it that's fine, just move past it and keep your opinions to yourself.

Also I am barely literate when talking about things like this but I tried because I am very passionate about this

I don't want to sound like a bitch, but I feel the need to say this because I've seen it quite a few times. Stop acting like your OC is better just because they aren't a self insert. I've read so many OCs introduction posts where people needlessly specify that they aren't a self insert. Okay, and? Should we clap? If you mention it just for the sake of it, without anyone asking, it truly feels like you are saying, "Yeah, my OCs are not S/Is so they are undoubtedly superior. You should give me all your attention and support". It's very unwelcoming. Stop it.
