It’s kind'a funny that none of the major star wars baddies actually hate Anakin specifically and either think Obi is more important or see the mas a package deal:

1. Maul has the biggest hate boner for Obi of all and spent over 20 years off and on trying to kill him (while also having sexual tension?)

2. Asajj started off as an Anakin rival but shows up on screen more times with Obi-Wan than his student while also having a ton of sexual tension

3. Dooku canonically doesn’t like Anakin but either likes Obi-wan or sees them as a package.

4. Grievous has the SECOND biggest Obi-wan Hate boner to the point where Obi keeping him off task is actually a really reliable strat that Obi busts out on the regular.

Like you might not notice it at first glance but it’s p clear that they see Obi-Wan as the actual Problem and Anakin is sort of either half of a problem or just not the one they care about on a personal level.

Which is hilarious because Anakin is, you know, the chosen one.

It’s a sibling’s job to kickstart that existential crises young.
