It was early morning Just breaking 9AM I laid in bed My clothes wrinkled like my bed sheets I worried about him The constant weeks of torment Coursing through my mind I felt a bit sick actually My mother sat next to me On the edge of my bed She looked at me I thought I saw emotion in her eyes 'He's gone' I thought It echoed in my mind ...He's gone... Sadness filled me Much like any other person But it hit deep Like a knife wound I was hurt Emotionally and Physically Torment All coursed through my veins like poison I never seemed help Never did I even want to But I reached out Calling to whoever would take my hand One grabbed it And I was suddenly whole No sound echoed in my ears As the peace finally set in
