Chapter Two: Friendship

Summary: Kagome and Inuyasha get to know each other. Inuyasha also learns of Kagome’s not so secret admirer.

Looking at the goofy, but cute selfie on her screen, Kagome couldn’t help but giggle. Inuyasha had sent her a picture of him and his adorable, fluffy dog, Ham, and she wondered if they were secretly related. Ham was shaped like a literal cloud, with the white hair to match and he had a crooked smile that seemed to resemble his owner’s. Saving the pic to her phone, she sent a quick text back and pocketed her cell.

The Hidden Hanyō: Chapter 2: now live on Ao3!

Hi everyone! I am so pleased to bring you the next chapter of The Hidden Hanyō, which is now live on Ao3!

In this chapter, we finally meet Kagome, and I hope you like her as much as I do! Miroku’s her boss, and he makes Kagome an offer she can’t refuse, even if she’s not thrilled about who she’ll be working for.

And this chapter features some very special commissioned artwork by the wonderful @nartistadigital, who actually created this badass Kagome for this story what feels like ages ago (which, yeah, I’ve been working on this fic for awhile 😅 ), and I’m so grateful to her for her vision in bringing these characters to life.

Kagome’s Fateful Choice Ch13: The Final Testament of Kikyō-sama is online!

Summary: Kikyō knows this is the end. She is fading away, and she wonders if she will finally be at peace. When she looks up and sees Kagome, Kikyō stops having to wonder.

In honor of this fic being nominated for Best Canon Divergent by the @feudalconnection, I decided to finally add that final chapter. The one that was always there whispering to be written. The one spoken in Kikyō’s voice. And so, Kagome’s Fateful Choice finds itself with one more chapter, one where we get to say goodbye. I hope that you enjoy it!

"Hm," he hummed, looking over his shoulder towards the crosswalk where they usually parted. "Thought I'd walk you all the way."

"You're not going to be late?"

"Nah," he said, raising their joined hands to place a kiss against her knuckles. "I've got time."

“What? No, of course not,” she scoffed. “I have too much stuff. Inuyasha said bring anything, but I don’t think he means anything, you know? Where did I even get all this crap anyway?”

“You’re panicking. I’m sure he just wants you there. Endless trinkets included.”

“This isn’t helping.”

“Do you want help?”

Her pacing ceased, and she breathed a sigh of relief. “Yes.”

“I’ll bring Miroku. Be there in twenty.”
