In the local court, the judge sentenced me to pay a fine of 2,000 euros. However, my lawyer suggested that we could request a local jury to consider my case, which might result in a smaller fine, as they would judge according to local customs and laws. I decided to take advantage of this opportunity. Now, I am wondering whether I should admit my guilt and repent, or try to justify myself and get out of the situation?
