I don't know if I should make a different Tumblr account to launch my ARG analog horror series because while I'm not against putting it on here I just think that would be more professional idk.

Now before any of y'all come at me, I had writer's block okay you've had to wait for a good chapter or you can get a shitty chapter real quickly. And I get it waiting for chapters to come out from independent writers sucks I love independent writers I read like a ton of shit on ao3. And on honesty I'm probably talking to the air cuz all of my readers have given up on me. Whatever I finish this chapter you can have it and if no one reads it I'll just probably give up on the story all together lol.
So let's talk about spooky month lore. I watch the newest video from wild card about the spooky month Lord and he pointed out the similarity between the symbols of the police station and the look of the amulet that they find in Bob.

So I rewatched the scene and I started thinking. When John is telling me police force leader about the cult he is immediately shut down but the following line is very interesting cuz the police force leader claims that the reason is house burned down was because he always leaves a coffee machine on. This tells us two things one the police force leader knows where John used to live and that he knows enough about the inside of John's house to know that he keeps the coffee machine on all the time.
The reason that I bring this up is in the new grounds ending of episode 4 you see one of the cult members break into wherever John is planning his investigation of the cult and this member of the cult burns the information. Now knowing that John's house was burned down we can assume that this scene is actually the burning down of John's house. Though that's the more obvious part of this. What I want to say is how the cult know where John's house was. I think the police force leader might be the same code number that burned John's house to the ground. I don't think that he's the leader of the cult but he definitely works in the cult.
In that same video that got me into researching this, wild card also mentions how this whole fight with Bob was possibly cover up for whatever the cult was doing. Presumably with the tree from the poem thanks to that random scream in episode 5. This would give motives. I believe that the police force leader is in the cult, he's the one that burned down John's house, and he has the reliable excuse of John's house burning down because of a coffee maker to hide behind. I also believe that's why he's so dead set on them solving the case of Bob in that one night or they get replaced. That forced the deadline of theirs make sure that they're more focused on Bob than any of the other cult activity.
Tdlr the police force leader is a member of the cult, he burned down John's house, and he used the case of Bob to distract them away from the cult who was doing something important most likely dealing with the tree in the poem.
If I haven't told anyone I am a fan of spooky month and I just watched the newest episode. Because I'm lazy and depressed and it took me a little while to actually sit down and watch something. So now I want to write a fan comic they'll be super dark and angsty and mainly just me thinking about my own problem through the mouth of a recognizable character. woah
So like if any of y'all want to see a very depressing comic about sweet baby boy Roy that I am more than happy to oblige.
Promo art for Fostering Kids (3)

I just realized halfway through the comic that I don't know what to do for the skin tones. On one hand I can use my previous art to color some of the characters plus it adds more diversity to the comic but the problem with that is that they're just headcannon and there's no like legitimate race for each character other than some like a little details you could take out but also on the other hand I don't want to use them actual White skin tone like in the show because I think it looks a little bland and I don't know how I would blush and Shadow the character without it looking either very blue or muddy.
