hey guys!! i’ve got several things in my writing queue, but right now i’m really excited for two series. I’m not sure which one I want to start first, so any input on which one you’d rather read first would be super helpful:

summary: dustin only wanted to help his sister get the boy, but instead she finds herself ensnared in a web of drama. when steve wants to use this as an opportunity to win nancy back, delaney finds that having a boyfriend- even a fake one- is nothing like she thought it would be.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, and i miss these kiddos, so here’s a Steve Harrington x oc! head canon for y’all:

beth has this poster up in her room- right between one of johnny depp and like 20 of michael j fox, mind you

as seen in s1 especially, steve’s insecurities often play out in the form of jealousy and rash conclusions that interfere with his relationships, and after overhearing two girls comparing billy hargrove to the guy from st. elmo’s fire, he never wanted to see that stupid thing again

he pulls away from her sweet strawberry lips, pouting and glaring daggers at her lilac walls

“hey beth? who’s that” ‘...rob... you mean rob lowe?’ does that earring look familiar?” etc

she’s not about to let him feed into that side of himself bc it’s only a poster of freaking rob lowe, not a polaroid of some guy she met at the hawk. it’s bc she understands the real reason he doesn’t like it

she ends up taking it down, folding it in half, and stuffing it into her whiny boyfriend’s fists.

she’d never admit it, but beth thought it was kinda cute that steve was jealous. besides, she’d always been more into back to the future than the outsiders, anyways

Although I have been busy with school, I really miss writing. I’m gonna try to finish something for y’all to read most likely by tomorrow night!
