I often think about how verbal consent must be such an integral part of Tav and Astarion's relationship even once they've been together for years.
It doesn't matter if his body language indicates he's eager for intimacy, Tav will still ask him "may I?", "can I?", "is it okay if I..?", "do you want to..?" even if it's quite clear. Even after all that time, they want to remind him that he's in control, to make it known that they'll never do anything he doesn't want.
Often, he might eagerly accept, or even beg for them, but other times he might say no. And when he does say no, he never ever fears his boundaries being crossed, because he trusts Tav entirely to respect his body. He feels safe with them, safe to say no, knowing that the word has power here where it didn't so many times before.
Even after years, he might think to himself that they don't need to ask during moments of passion, that it's quite clear when he does and doesn't want intimacy, but it still brings him comfort when they do.

During my previous playthroughs I completely missed that Seifer's gunblade stance and even his victory animation comes from the movie where Laguna played the sorceress' knight... It's actually adorable...

I like to imagine Astarion being like, 1-2 inches taller than Gale. Like it's not really noticeable, but he knows and is extremely annoying about it. Honestly, Astarion being safe and secure in a relationship and therefore feeling comfortable being a pest is everything to me.
Which is to say, I like drawing him with a little grinch face. Just an absolute creature. My favorite Astarion is an ex-feral cat being spoiled by his doe-eyed busted-kneed wizard because he can knock over a glass and still get kissed all over his stupid little face MHMM 💜
I've got a long-ass ramble in me about Astarion learning how he likes to love and be loved via bloodweave, but I keep looking up to see this goofy-ass drawing and I simply cannot manage it. I will say there's something about Gale being delighted and accepting of whatever Astarion is willing/able to give him in the moment, and Astarion poking at him like a fuzzy purple soundboard that makes me go bananas. Just climbing the walls. Gale is Astarion's tamagotchi idk how else to explain it.

Cloud Strife is truly The Character of all time. He’s a government-trained killing machine. He’s a cross-dressing babygirl. He’s a jaded mercenary who never turns down a job because he likes helping people. He’s an amnesic ecoterrorist who’s killed hundreds of people in order to save the planet from capitalism. He was the only child of a single mom and he’s been miserably in love with the girl next door his whole life. The first time he saw her in a swimsuit he forgot how to talk for ten full seconds. He has the personalities of at least three different people stuffed into his head, and two of them are trying to kill each other (Zack just wants everyone to get along). He’s the result of a mad scientist’s experiment that implanted the cells of a genocidal alien in his body. The son of that genocidal alien is psychosexually obsessed with him. So is the local pimp. His eyes glow because of all the radiation exposure, and half the people he meets are like, “Oof, you’re gonna die young, kid.” He’s a 5’7” short king. He’s a puppet built to bring about the apocalypse. He’s even autistic.
