I Felt Like Experimenting A Little Bit So I Drew Two Of My Characters, Paloma And The Monarch In A New

I felt like experimenting a little bit so I drew two of my characters, Paloma and the Monarch in a new style. I like how Paloma turned out but I’m not entirely sure about the Monarch, they need some work. Still, it was fun to experiment.

Day One: Generic

I decided to try the thirty day magical girl challenge again so here's my picture for day one with the theme Generic. I wanted to try using a border-less style this time, its been something I've wanted to try out ever since I was watched an interview about the art in Samurai Jack and now I've finally got around to it. I think I did alright but I definitely need more practice.

A reference for I character I wrote about in a short story ages ago. I’m thinking about using her in an original character tournament. I’m a bit out of practice though. Something went weird when I was doing the line art for this picture but you’ll get the idea of her. Her name is Jade, she travels through dimensions looking for shards of a mirror that she broke years ago. Her clothes change depending on the place she goes to. She has an affinity ice magic but can use other forms too and is actually pretty good at hand to hand combat though sometimes her clothes get in the way of that.

Here, have an angsty brat as my first upload :P This is Derik, he's from a story I'm writing, Anomaly Code. He's a bit of a grump.

I decided to redraw some of my old characters recently and this is the result. The older ones were drawn around 2008-2009. I think I’ve made a bit of progress since then :P I apologize for the bad quality. I need to look into getting a decent scanner.

I was going to wait until my secret project was done but I may never finish it so here’s some of the art I’ve been doing in my livestreams. I’ve slowly been working through some redesigns of my characters, old and new, just to see what I can improve on. Mad Alyss is one of my oldest characters and it’s interesting to see how she’s changed over the years. Anyway, hope everyone enjoys.
