Or, my version of a human Eshra, based on a brief description provided by @so-called-yokai ^-^

I couldn't resist the urge to put him in a ridiculously flamboyant outfit, complete with chains and blue gems as a little homage to his wings :]

My pose reference was none other than our beloved Yuzuru Hanyu! I figured, who better to draw inspiration from for this guy than a figure skater? Of course, nothing about this outfit is appropriate for figure skating in any way, but my brain said bedazzled flowy fabrics or nothing bahahaha

I had so much fun coming up with this outfit and shading the gold detailing! It was an absolute blast, and the final result turned out way better than I imagined ^-^

It was a little hard to figure out how the chains and fabric would be flowing since he is in motion, but I think I managed to make it look decent in the end lol

I'm trying out a colour scheme for this illustration that I never finished (as well as neatening up the line-art) , and I wanted to check if anyone would be interested in having it as a poster/other form of wall art? I've been meaning to set up a Print On Demand shop for a while now, but I never really felt like any of my designs were good enough to sell until fairy recently!

Of course, I don't expect anyone to buy it just because they said they might be interested, I'm just testing the waters right now to see if it's even an idea in the first place ^-^

Are there any other colour schemes I should try? I'm open for suggestions!

I used water-based ink as an underpainting, charcoal for the deeper shadows as well as to dull the colour in some places, and a white gel pen for any extra highlights that felt needed ^-^

How do we feel about the horns? (well, horn), I think it balances everything out quite nicely ^-^

Absolutely nothing about this is planned out lmao, which is why it doesn't really make any sense

I have no idea what to do about the whole -lack-of-neck- situation, I might just end up leaving it as it is

There's nothing quite as relaxing as making some incredibly self-indulgent and drinking hot coffee, while listening to a 3+ hour lets-play in the background

I might not be posting very much for a little while, I'm dealing with a lot of stuff right now and I can't really see myself finding the energy to draw

That being said, I honestly don't know how everything is gonna play out. It might be like I just said, or I might actually end up posting a lot more than usual as a bit of escapism lol

What I do know is that I don't have it in me to work on requests right now. I'm sorry to anyone who is waiting on a drawing from me, but any art I make for the foreseeable future will be completely self-indulgent, if I make any at all

I figured I should say something before potentially disappearing for a little while, just in case there actually is anyone who looks forward to the next post from my silly little blog lol
