Hello, I made a meet the artist illustration, I was tagged by 2 of my friends! @matsuban and @mrfebruarius, thank you for tagging me, so I have an excuse to slack off from work.

I wanted to get a little experimental with this so I tried a slightly different and rougher way of painting that was a bit out of my comfort zone.

e_T; trying to show i’m not dead on this bloge, just some progress of a thing I’m working on in my desperate attempt to try to be more active online again (this was meant for UT birthday but i’m too busy and I scream)

I redesigned my inkling persona character in hype of the Splatoon2 announcement. 

The character and core ideas are still the same (stoic, strategic, cunning - mistaken for an octoling easily), but I wanted to try to represent them better through the design and color choices to fit into the Splatoon world. It was also fun to do an illustration in the official concept art style.  

I’ll try to do some conceptual playstyle sheets and written descriptions later explaining the fountain pen weapon.

for @0chromat , its a week late but it’s for his birthday. Steel is a very hardworking dude, does alot and asks for little in return. ;w; So, I hope your birthday was fun and I hope you enjoy this!
