Excuse the bad picture, but I feel Talkie Toaster is right at home on my shelf.
Look who I'm making. He should be finished soon (hopefully)

I felt bad for all those who wanted 'Demons and Angels' to win so here you are.
As it is the favourite episode, have an edit. You deserve it.
This is a theory for the TV series on how original Rimmer could have returned after series 8.
However a small spoiler warning because I have been rereading the Red Dwarf books and I am up to 'Backwards' and it is referenced as something to explain in more detail about the dimensional travel.
I have read up to Ace and the burnt Wildfire and how they plan on solving what went wrong, and a thought occured to me when they were talking about it being almost impossible to return to your universe of origin, this being due to the vast expanse of universes growing by every possible different choice being made. So it is possible to return just unlikely meaning that original Rimmer could get back.
I then though about the end of series 8, and how later in 'Back to Earth' hologram Rimmer is back. I know of many different theories people have had and I want to present one of my own.
The theory is that our Rimmer from pre-series 8 had double the chance of finding home. Although that is still a small chance it is more likely. He could have jumped into either his home universe of into the mirror universe. If we choose to belive he jumped into the mirror universe it is possible he passed through the mirror/portal and entered into the main universe. And him walking through could have broken the connection and been the reason the mirror was broken and nanobot Rimmer was unable to return through it. Rimmer is then onboard the ship and able to "save" the day meanwhile if nanobot Rimmer found Wildfire, it means that the legacy of Ace is not necessarily gone as he could take on the mantle. (It has been a while since watching 'Only the Good' so remind me if I'm wrong about anything).
I also really would find it funny for the biggest coward to be capable of making his way home when others couldn't, and I feel it fits well with his character that he would do something near impossible rather than be brave and put himself in danger for other people.
Thanks for reading. Have a good day/night.
2 times in 1 day. I must not have a life.
@clippedionianvowels , it may not be a fanfiction but I just thought you might enjoy.
Hello. Another text post.
Recently me and my siblings have been watching through 'Brittas Empire' we are currently up to series 3. But although he is incredibly annoying, Brittas is still my favourite character, but for entirely different reasons to Rimmer being my favourite from 'Red Dwarf'.
The thing about Brittas is that he is annoying, but not because he means to. He doesn't realise that others dislike the way he is and has what he feels is best at heart. While Rimmer is just stubborn and thinks with himself at heart. Both are difficult to be around, but Brittas does not mean to be. Rimmer knows that he annoys people and still expects people to like him.
Brittas is my favourite because he is just trying to think of what is best, and he is a good person who just goes about things the wrong way and doesn't realise. He belives that he is nice and he does the best he could.
Meanwhile Rimmer is my favourite because, he is on one hand a self-preserving coward who values his life over others, but he also hates himself. We know this from the many looks into his mind, that although he puts on an act of loving himself and pretending he is a charming and amazing person, while in reality these traits of him are long gone and a feeling of self loathing has taken over. That is why he is my favourite.
As you can see, they although at first look seem very similar they are quite different.
I think i might begin to make more text posts because I enjoy hearing peoples opinions on things I enjoy. See if I agree or disagree. Have a nice day/night if you read this far.
Just been watching "Can't smeg, won't smeg" and I just want to state just a few things I really enjoy.
1: The Cat. I just love how they don't force him into a role that does not fit his character so instead they just swap him out for Duane.
2: The cuts to Kochanski. I know this isn't a big thing but I just find it funny how there is the occasional cut just to her either laughing or looking on at the scene with terror.
3: The teams. It's hilarous to me the idea that Kryten and Lister are unsuccessful in their attempts at cooking and make an absolute mess, meanwhile Rimmer and Duane are (more) successful. I also think that how Duane ane Rimmer interact is one of my favourite things, they both just wreck havoc in the kitchen and are just insane. When Duane took the rice from Ainsley Harriott while Rimmer distracted him, aswell as just Duane going haywire while cutting a cucumber.
4: Lister being a menace. He was just eating everything, but I mean, I don't blame him I would probably eat lots of the food too. When he throws the chicken at Ainsley. It's great.
5: The final dish. The presentation on Lister and Krytens dish, looked like a deserted islands.
6: The dance moves. Majestic.
7: Duane and Rimmer. I thought I needed to go into more detail about them. I love the dynamic, eventhough you think nobody could ever seem to get along with Rimmer, Duane does quite well. He has fun being annoying and messing around. The way that after Duane was crazily cutting the cucumber, Rimmer grabbed him while he was holding the knife and we just saw a shot of Rimmer holding Duanes hand with the knife. I would love to see a return of Duane and more of him and Rimmer just because I want to see whether they would continue having the characters get along or change it for the show.
I know this isn't my usual post but I just really enjoy it, I now feel an urge to make an edit of it.
Told you i'd be back.
I will be back with proper edits soon but i'm just messing around with capcut templates.
