Not With A Bang But A Whimper
Not with a bang but a whimper
It’s the end of the world, mostly because a large percentage of the population have mutated into hungry monsters. A human couple a man and a woman have managed to survive but they both know the reason for that survival is a double edged sword: one them (the man) is slowly turning into one of the very things they are trying to run away from. The only way he has managed to keep the one he loves safe is by tapping into that inhuman side more and more frequently. Inevitably he mutates completely, it happens with almost no warning in a time and place when the couple has managed to find some quiet safe house away from the monsters however briefly. The man just stops being human and the woman is alone with a hungry monster. Naturally she’s frightened, but the truth is there’s no where to run, both literally and in the sense that she has no where to run TO. It’s only been the two of them for so long, the only other traces of people they’d encountered are the dead. The truth is she’s known for a long time that this would be her fate. The monster looms over his prey and finds he is no less in love with the being trembling in front of him, no less capable of recognizing the one he adores. It’s simply that the time has come to stop pretending he doesn’t want all of her to himself, That fighting off the other predators is enough when it isn’t, there’s only one place his prey will ever truly be safe, he sees that clearly now, see the foolish way clinging to his humanity had simply put his prey in unnecessary danger. A black tongue unfurls from behind glistening teeth snaking out to caress the side of the humans cheek affectionately, enormous clawed hands tenderly but firmly rest upon narrow shoulders, while another pair of arms lower down reach around and press her back guiding her closer to the monsters broad chest, his stomach growls as if sensing the one it wants is close enough to hear it. Wide eyes stare in quiet terror and uncertain curiosity mesmerized by the way the unfamiliar threat has intertwined with familiar gentleness. The monster takes the humans hand and presses it against it’s stomach, he has no need for words anymore but he remembers distantly that she does, he cups her face in his enormous hands, tilting her two eyes up to meet many more staring back tender yet ravenous. He utters the word that to his mind explains exactly what’s going to happen and why “Mine”
She swallows nervously eyes taking in the creature she’s certain she can’t reach but knows she needs to try to. “[name] C-could we maybe talk about thi-hhoooookay that’s a mouth! Please don’t bite my head off!” She tries to lean away as his jaws come forward, gently he playfully nips at his prey, trying to demonstrate that he does not in fact, intend to bite her head off. Unfortunately his teeth are enormous and sharp and being poked however gently with knives does not exactly send a comforting message to human instincts. Eventually however his preys heart stops hammering to the point where she can recognize she’s not being crunched or torn to pieces. Merely nipped, licked and more concerning sucked on. Her eyes widen as his intentions click. “You dick! That’s even worse!” her guess is correct, once he finishes tasting and “reassuring” his prey he curls his long tongue around her, his jaws open wide and he envelops her head and shoulders with a low and excited purr.
The monster tilts his head back, one claw gently tracing her progress as a squirming bulge down his throat. Meanwhile feet and legs kick in response to being lifted away from proper purchase, though the amount of earnest struggling she can do is severely hampered by the sheer danger of squirming on the deadly knives that surround her. This fact is driven home very clearly when she accidentally slices open her palm trying to push back against his jaws. The approving sound he makes as her blood pools onto his tongue is both disturbing and vexing but he does not bite down intentionally even if his tongue lingers and writhes pretty obviously on her cut palm.
But I digress, the monster has tilted his head back tracing his preys progress as his muscles pull and guide his beloved down into his waiting belly. Two hands rub his swelling gut as she slips past the ring separating the esophagus from the stomach. Meanwhile a fourth hand helps to gently feed the humans legs and feet inside, pushing firmly at the kicking appendages here and there to keep her from accidentally killing herself on his teeth. Finally her feet find the way to the back of his throat, safe from the hazard of sharp teeth. He gulps firmly, sealing the fate of the woman he loves with just that simple horrendously easy action.
She can’t see inside the claustrophobic darkness of his belly, but that doesn’t make the reality of where she is any less apparent, the slimy undulating walls, the heart beat pounding above, the way the body around her breathes in and out. The heat is crushing when compared to the world she’s left behind, she feels a pressure from outside and it’s mind-bending to know that she can identify it as his hands pressing in and down from outside this new and permanent prison of flesh.
A low crass belch eases out of the monster as he leans back and admires the way his prey fills him. A callous declaration of the monsters place on the food chain and her own. At least that’s what most would believe, but the monster sees nothing callous in his actions. The human inside him is in her proper place, this much is true, but why should that be seen as a bad thing? Surely this is the way things must be? If the two of them are to stay together. Surely the human will also understand that necessity if not now, then once all boundaries have been broken down between body and soul and the two become one.

Oh look a post
Tumblr layout is so confusing, I have no idea if this is an actual post I am making right now. But I’m crossing my fingers.
so I was gonna try to keep this blog mostly vore fetish and self-deprecating shitpost focused but then I got distracted by shiny things and reblogged them. Apologies.

“Shh, it’s alright,” the villain said. “You’re doing beautifully and I’m so proud of you. But that’s enough now. It was cruel of them to make you fight me - you could never have won. It’s not your fault.” Could you expand, or continue this one? I love it so much.
(This is one of my favourite things that I’ve written. Like, oh my god. Sometimes I have my doubts about my writing and then I read the above and my faith in myself is restored. Bless the villains. Anyway.)
The hero panted for breath, harsh and gasping in the exertion of battle. Their body trembled with exhaustion.
The villain held them close and subdued them easily, fingers stroking through their hair, so mercilessly soothing.
“I can - I - I-”
“-Shh.” The villain crowned the hero’s head with a kiss, grip tightening a little. “Maybe. Maybe one day. But not now, not like this. You’re not ready.”
“It’s not enough. You - you-”
“It’s not your fault,” the villain said again.
The hero squeezed their eyes shut and buried their face in the villain’s shoulder. They hated themselves, a little, for that. It felt far too much like surrender. “Do you really think I could beat you? Maybe?” They regretted the question the second it left their lips. It was foolish. It was a child’s plea for reassurance. It was utterly inappropriate. They jolted in the grip in disgust of themselves.
The villain caught their jaw in deft hands. “It’s not your fault.”
“Are you going to kill me?” It was another child’s question, frightened and foolish. It tasted like bile on their tongue and similarly they couldn’t seem to stop it.
“Of course,” the villain said. “But it won’t hurt, I promise you that. You don’t deserve pain. It’s them.” The villain’s thumb brushed up along their cheek, reassuring and hypnotic. “Unless you want to join me?”
“What?” the hero blinked at them. “No. No, I can’t. You’re - you’re-” They wanted to say evil. It was impossible to say evil when the villain cradled them so close, when they wiped the tears from their eyes, when they were so kind.
To everyone else in the world, if the hero didn’t stop the villain, it was the hero’s fault. That was just how the story went.
In the stories, the villain didn’t say they were proud. And, if they did, it was a mockery. A temptation. A scheme.
Nobody had ever said they were proud before. Goodness was just something they did, something expected, and bravery some virtue demanded undeserving of praise. They were hero. Of course they were brave and, should they be scared, it was the right kind of scared. The inspiring kind. Not the kind that led to them dry heaving, hyper-ventilating, panicking with black spots in their vision in their enemy’s arms.
“They’d kill me if I did,” the hero finished. It felt too honest. “I don’t want people to look at me like they look at you.”
“They are cruel.”
“So are you.”
“Yes.” The villain didn’t deny it. “But not to my own.”
“I’m not yours.”
“But they sent you to me,” the villain said. “Knowing you couldn’t win, knowing you could only burn until they found their chosen one. Live and prove yourself. Die as nothing. It’s not fair.”
The hero didn’t know what to say to that. Possibly, they shouldn’t say anything. Possibly it was a trick. Possibly they should find a knife and drive it through the villain’s heart when they were so arrogantly close.
“You are kind,” the villain said, as if reading their thoughts. “You’re beautiful. You’re everything they want and nothing they need. Should you beat me, you wouldn’t be that anymore. It would cost you - more than death, more than pain.”
“I’m not anything,” the hero whispered. “They won’t remember me.”
“I will,” the villain promised. “I’ll remember all of you. And they will suffer for you, I give you my word.” The villain’s eyes were ablaze, intent and focused. They cupped the hero’s cheek. “You are enough.”
This is very well written, check it out.
Heart Pangs - The Meeting (Part 1/70)

Story Summary: ~ Felix Feuerbach is a predator and Benji Marotta is a prey. Unfortunately, as children, neither of them really understand what that means. As they and their friendship grow, so too does a strange and terrifying instinct within Felix. Can their friendship survive this change? Can Benji? One thing that's for certain is that neither of them could have guessed how many dark corners and twisted tests this friendship would put the both of them through. ~
Heart Pangs uses vore as a plot device to build and explore a world where predators and prey currently live in harmony. However, years of preds treating prey as little more than food, have left an imbalance both social and economical between the two groups. While some groups struggle to find true equality, others fight to maintain the status quo. Preds scramble to find ways of fulfilling their cravings, while prey just want to survive.
Story content warning: while vore is not treated specifically as a kink within this story, it is treated as being linked closely to maturity and sexuality; fatal vore is often mentioned and/or implied but digestion is never directly described; there are, however, some instances of safe and consensual vore; there are many instances of unwilling prey and a few instances of unwilling or semi-willing preds; two chapters feature adult content, although explicit sexual language is never really used
Chapter content: some wee babs who know nothing; non-vore

* * * * * * * * * *
Felix Feuerbach and Benji Marotta are in kindergarten when they meet. It’s near the end of the school year when Felix notices Benji alone in the schoolyard and asks him if he wants to play.
Benji looks at him in surprise.
Felix is a pred, and at their age, that doesn’t mean much— just that Felix is an inch or two taller than Benji. But Benji knows that, one day, Felix will grow to be quite a bit taller than him— more like two or three feet taller. In fact, that’s the only thing Benji knows of the differences between preds and prey because the world is still a safe place to him.
Even so, despite still being young and the same size and sharing a classroom together, preds and prey mostly stick to their own kind.
Except for, apparently, Felix Feuerbach.
“You mean it?” Benji questions doubtfully. “Yeah, why not?” Felix says with a shrug. “You look lonely over here by yourself.”
There is something cool and friendly about Felix that makes Benji want to say yes to him. And there is something intriguing and soft spoken abut Benji that makes Felix want to know more about him.
By the time summer break begins, Benji is asking his parents if his new best friend Felix can come over to play. This is the first time they’ve heard of Benji having any sort of friend so excitedly they say yes.
Benji’s mom’s face pales when Felix’s mother walks him over the next day, a towering figure on her doorstep. Mrs. Marotta wraps her arms protectively tight around little baby Stephanie, the youngest of her four children.
“You must be Benji’s mom,” Mrs. Feuerbach says with a sparkling grin when they lay eyes on each other. “I’ve heard so much about Benji. Felix has really grown a liking for him.”
Something about the way Felix’s mother says the words puts Mrs. Marotta on edge. Like Benji is only a plaything to Felix. Benji’s mom is about to tell Mrs. Feuerbach to go back home, about to slam the door in her face, but then Benji is rushing out and throwing himself at Felix.
The two tumble over each other in a messy embrace.
“You’re here!” Benji says excitedly to his new friend.
Felix puts a steadying hand on top of Benji’s head. “Yeah, I walked all this way too!”
Benji’s mom watches the interaction with a careful expression. Felix does seem to genuinely view Benji as a friend. And at this age, there is no danger from him to any of her children. She doubts that they’ll remain friends long enough for them to grow older and have that change.
So she plasters on a smile, shifts baby Stephanie to her other hip, and says, “Yes, Benji hasn’t stopped talking about Felix either. Why don’t you leave him here for a few hours? I can watch out for him.”
Mrs. Feuerbach’s smile is unflinching. “That would be so lovely of you. I’ll be back to pick him up before dinner.”
She says her goodbyes to her son and Mrs. Marotta is able to let out a sigh of relief when she’s finally gone.
“Brandon,” Mrs. Marotta calls to her oldest son, “can you go out there with Benji and make sure he’s playing nice with his new friend?”
Brandon is three years older than Benji. He too thinks size is the only difference between preds and prey, but he’s older and more observant than his little brother. In two more years he’ll be old enough for middle school, the point at which prey and preds are sent to separate schools and they first learn the real difference between the two of them.
And Brandon is smart. He picks up on things that most of his other classmates don’t. He already has an inkling that there’s something darker than just the size difference between he and his classmates.
He also picks up that there’s something more to his mother’s request for him to babysit his brother and new friend. So begrudgingly, but without argument, he agrees and joins the two of them in the yard.
And then there’s Camille. Not much more than a baby but old enough to see when her two older brothers are having fun without her. She cries until her mother lets her out too, telling her brothers to, “play nice.”
Benji and Brandon groan at the sight of Camille stumbling towards them.
Felix brightens. “She’s so cute!”
He kneels down and Camille runs to him, interested in the friendly new stranger. He immediately scoops her up. Camille laughs with excitement.
“This is so cool!” Felix says after tossing her up and getting her to laugh for a minute straight. After he exhausts her, he lets her sit on his back. “You guys get to live with each other and play whenever you want. You’re so lucky. I wish I could have that.”
“You don’t have any siblings?” Brandon asks.
Felix shakes his head. “No, it’s just me.”
“You’re the lucky one,” Benji says. “You don’t have to put up with her.” He jabs a finger at Camille.
Felix blinks. “But she’s so sweet.”
Brandon laughs. “Just wait til she gets used to you. She’s the bossiest toddler I know.”
Felix ends up staying until evening time when his mother comes back to pick up him up. He doesn’t stop babbling to her about everything they did.
“It sounds like these new friends of yours really know how to show you a good time,” his mother says. Then she gives Benji’s mom a gleaming smile. “Felix loves your children. They’re clearly very entertaining for him. Perhaps he can come by again some time?”
Again, something about her phrasing makes Mrs. Marotta uncomfortable and she wants to deny the proposition. But there’s also something about the woman looming before her, dressed in nicer clothes than she’s ever owned, flashing a dazzlingly straight and white smile, that makes Mrs. Marotta thinks she doesn’t get told “no” a lot, that it would be a bad idea to try to start now. So instead she smiles and says, “Sure, it was a pleasure having him over.”
Felix’s mother seems amused by this but accepts the compliment and leaves with her son in tow.

A pred and prey that have a LOT of chemistry together>>>
They're constantly teasing each other, but somehow, the prey always manages to stay out of the pred's reach. They flash the pred a smug smile and tell them that they'll have to try harder than that to catch them, and wow, the pred nearly got them this time... But the prey slipped out of their reach yet again! Better luck next time.
Meanwhile, the pred is always on the move, trying to catch this prey. Not only do they strongly believe that this prey belongs in their stomach, but the prey has a fierce hold on their heart; they love the prey. Everything about them. Their scent, their snarky remarks, their personality... If they could just get one taste...
Over time, the prey finds themselves thinking about this pred more and more. They're so big and strong, and yet, they're so much more gentle than any other pred they've met; they always have a warm sparkle in their eyes as they speak, and they have never shown any ill intent towards the prey...
Finally, they day comes where the pred finally catches the prey. Suddenly, the prey is out of snarky things to say; they stare that the pred, wide-eyed. The pred grips their shoulders gently, and as always, looks at them with that same warm sparkle in their eyes. They smile at the prey.
"You have no idea how long I've waited for this," The pred murmurs. They bring the prey up closer to their face. "Don't worry. I won't hurt you. This will feel good."
The prey's eyes fall to the pred's mouth. Admittedly, they've wondered what it would feel like to travel down this pred's throat, into their stomach. As the pred licks their lips, the prey blushes furiously at that thought.
"Okay," The prey says. They relax. "You've won."
The pred takes this as their cue. They lift the prey into their maw happily. The pred takes their time tasting the prey, and they're gentle as they guide the prey down their throat.
Finally, the prey slips into the pred's belly. The moment they do is pure bliss for the pred; warmth fills their core, and they sit back and curl up around their belly, purring around their prey.
Meanwhile, the prey finds that being inside a stomach isn't at all what they thought it would be. It's warm, soft, and pleasant. Around them, the stomach squishes and churns gently, as if cradling them. Soft, ambient sounds from the organ can be heard all around them, gurgling quietly with each gentle squeeze. They find themselves thinking that they don't want to be let out. Not for a while, anyways.
