A small rant about Bts/Army/other groups

Okay so i just saw a comment that kind of triggered me and i want to rant???? I know my opinion might feel offensive or hurtful at some point and im not gonna force it down anyone’s throat, but what the actual fuck. Like i know bts is big in both America and Korea and of course they are doing amazing and im beyond fucking proud, but im fucking sorry im getting tired of this. Like seriously just cuz bts is popular and now they are absolutely everywhere, other groups become irrelevant? No one can be better or successful? If anyone does anything at least similar to bts it’s immediately copying and plagiarism? Im not picking sides, but jesus christ in a church army is so fucking toxic and absolutely disrespectful nowadays? If you bias over them, you dont need to shit on other groups. Literally ALL GROUPS work hard, all groups are trying to satisfy their fans and their companies. Like no one is asking for you to like them or stan them, but calling every group bts is disrespectful to both sides. And i know some new people might not know which is which but im sure there are some differences that can help you separate at least groups. Some people say that “oh bts pawed the way for other groups in korea and other countries” and all i gotta say is no honey, just no. Who actually introduced kpop to literally the whole damn world was psy (might i say i dont even like him) then came bigbang which was a big thing in Korea. Lets not forget Exo who collaborated (well technically Chanyeol) with an american artist before bts got the chance to. Or lets take Dean for example, he is a kpop artist that fucking writes songs not only for korean artists but for Americans as well. Of course bts did a whole fucking lot for Korea and kpop there’s no denying that, they did open the pandora box for other groups to have a better access to succeed. I’ve been army for almost four years now and i was there when bts was barely popular and seeing them finally get what they deserve was amazing and im still to this day very proud of these hard working boys, but i dont want to ues the word “overrated” cuz it just sounds disrespectful, but i feel like now bts is just not the same, neither is their music and i miss it so much. They are all over the place and it’s getting a bit boring and annoying to see them everywhere. With each comeback i feel like they are releasing songs, not because they want to or enjoy it, but because they are under a lot of pressure to just stay relevant and it the buzz all the time. Im a big multi fandom hoe and i even listen to groups that barely have views. In fucking conclusion all i want to say is that army should sit their ass down and be quiet, they want to support their faves? Okay, great but dont drag other groups and call them copies of bts or dont tell them that they made it only because of bts, cuz we all know that they are making it only cuz of their hard work and dedication.
