I’m going to call this a character sheet, even if it doesn’t seem like it, I’m calling it that :). Prepare for long text and info.

Background:

Rojan is from a lower class background. Didn’t have the best childhood and his parents were never around enough to be in his life. He moved out the first chance he got when he was 18. He also met his wife in high school, so they are high school sweethearts. The military was his first “career” choice, being deployed for 5 years until he had Cornelia, and quit to raise her. Unfortunately, his daughter was killed by vampire ravagers during a late night out at her friends house. This inspired Rojan and Lilith to start a business out of capturing, torturing, experimenting on, and killing vampires. Mainly out of revenge, but was also almost like a coping mechanism for their loss. He’s been vampire hunting for 5 years up till he met Cordova.

Personality:

Rojan can be different depending on the people he’s around. Around people he doesn’t know, or just naturally has a dislike towards, he can be stern, intimidating, and even dangerous because of how skilled he is in combat and how strong he is. He has average intelligence generally, school wasn’t exactly a passion. If he likes you, or even simply respects you, he can be fiercely loyal, kind, docile, even protective. His perspective of you can also be the decision between being merciful or not. It’s only usually around Lilith, but he can definitely be immature and a goofball, even lovey dovey.

Me when I find a new whump trope and put my characters through it immediately after. Poor Cordova. Excuse me, No. 100613. [613 came from his birthday]

They kind of gave him some drugs to help him sleep before travel because he was feeling claustrophobic and being a bit reluctant. He was shipped safely in the end.

This would probably be an AU where Rojan and Lilith are coping with the loss of their daughter and figure that getting a box boy might help them. I’m not too familiar on roles or positions for box boys, but based on the three I’ve seen the most [Domestic, Platonic, Romantic]. I think Cordova would be a mix of domestic and platonic.

If he needed any discipline, which he definitely would, Rojan would most likely be the one doing most of the punishing while Lilith is more of the carewhumper type. Cordova would definitely be a little biased towards who he feels more comfortable with, but it’s not like he has a choice in the end anyway >:)

IRL Achievement?!

Last night, I was talking with one of my friends and we were talking about OC’s and goofing off. At some point we were drawing our OC’s and talking about them. In my sugar-rushed-delirious-state of sleepiness I started to literally talk about Cordova’s poor whump story in detail. My friend then proceeded to share their equally whumpy story about their OC’s without even mentioning how messed up my story was.

The amount of joy I felt kind of just made my week. I didn’t mention the word whump or that I have an account dedicated to it, so I’m not sure if they know what whump is but let me just say, their characters go through some shit. And it’s amazing.

They even wanted to give me pointers on my story to flesh out the world, like hello?! They’re a better writer than me, but to say I was ecstatic is an understatement.

So yah! I don’t know if this counts as telling someone in real life about my whumpy tendencies without directly mentioning whump, but that’s probably as close as I’ll get for now.

I do that too whenever I see flowers that look similar to them, lol. So I have another OC that I adore, but I haven’t shown him on this platform yet, he’s my favorite right now. For now though, I’ll introduce you to Cordova Ardelean.

He’s in my little series pleasure is pain. This might not be his final design, but we’ll see. He’s half vampire/ half human. He’s 120 years old and 5’11” in height. His father is Romanian and is a vampire, his mother is Hispanic and is human. He’s low key Bi, he just hasn’t figured it out yet 🤭.

Pleasure in pain was supposed to be a wip, even just a drabble at first, but I started to like hurting this boy too much. His story is actually on hold right now because I was planning to rewrite some of the story and make it a little better. Especially since I don’t know how I want his story to end or how he’s going to escape, if he does. He might just turn out to be one of those whumpees who doesn’t escape their captor and maybe even moves to a new one. He’s kind of like my experiment.

He might just end up being my drawing practice in whumpy scenes, too. But that’s as much as I have of him for now. Also those random self inserts are me trying to comfort him before I hurt him more.

Honestly, I’m genuinely surprised by how many people chose the douchebag. I think I get it, but it’s just an interesting thing to note. I too like seeing douchebags being put in their places 😌

I need opinions!

I may or may not be drafting a new series just because I got a lot of inspiration hit me at once. So the general idea is that Whumper is someone who travels the world constantly on a ship. He’s a very powerful and rich person because he does shady stuff. Dun dun dun.

My dilema here is that I don’t know what I want him to be. Should he be like a pirate from the 1700’s with that classic wooden ship style. A modern day pirate that’s sophisticated and more business-like in his approach, probably even has a yacht or a cruise ship. Maybe not even a pirate at all and just some rich guy that does business deals around the world and tends to cheat people while being in the safety of his boat.
