Writing Advice From My Uni Teachers:
Writing advice from my uni teachers:
If your dialog feels flat, rewrite the scene pretending the characters cannot at any cost say exactly what they mean. No one says “I’m mad” but they can say it in 100 other ways.
Wrote a chapter but you dislike it? Rewrite it again from memory. That way you’re only remembering the main parts and can fill in extra details. My teacher who was a playwright literally writes every single script twice because of this.
Don’t overuse metaphors, or they lose their potency. Limit yourself.
Before you write your novel, write a page of anything from your characters POV so you can get their voice right. Do this for every main character introduced.

can you make a tutorial on how to draw a face? (eyes, mouth, nose) im a beginner artist and i'd like some help please ^^

For eyes I just do three quick brush strokes (as shown by the red)
noses are made out of a bunch of small triangles. I first draw a slightly curved stroke connecting to the eyebrow and follow it with a small triangle at the base of the nose (used to show other side of nose. this bit is not always going to be visable keep that in mind) and a small notch (the nostral)
(the only method I have for drawing lips is to do the top lip first it’s sort of a freehand thing from that point on sorry ;o;)
the first couple of pictures are just to show you were everything is on the face
Hope this helped!! ;v;
How do you draw a nose with a bump Also my Nena thinks your art is beautiful and that you’re very talented
a bit quick but this are some examples of many cute noses!

ofc this is not the only correct way this are just portrayed in my style you can create many many more! just don’t be afraid to do different noses than just the petit button nose! ( also ayeeeee shoutout to ur nena tell her I say hola lol )
do you have any tips on drawings noses? particularly non-white noses?? all the tutorials are european noses and i just want to learn how to draw my own nose!!
oh i feel you. the nice thing about being a poc is that you can always study yourself in the mirror to learn how to draw yourself better! but anyways:

if you’re wondering which kinds of noses are frequent for which race, i like to use this guide. I can’t verify how accurate it is, but it’s pretty damn comprehensive for racial traits around the world. I also really like this guide for learning how to draw a variety of East Asian noses (it’s not all flat!). Here’s an equivalent guide that includes drawing African noses. And there’s always Google images for more specific requirements.
+ 3D models are really helpful when drawing noses: x x x
+ here are some general nose tutorials by better artists lol: x x
EDIT: Check the notes for an updated version (different names are used)
