actual phantom phantom thieves au ^^ (aka most of them are ghosty boys)

for those curious, the only living members of the phantom thieves are makoto, futaba, and akechi. Akechi has the ability to see/interact with ghosts and he just does not believe in them. Akira is simply a hallucination and nothing more,,,, until ryuji comes along and begs him to put a teacher in jail. 

Futaba is a necromancer who cant see ghosts, she can hear just not see. 

Makoto is someone who just. keeps narrowing avoiding death. to the point she beings to develop the ability to see ghosts

(Im only going to explain ryuji’s death bc its kinda funny) kamoshida attacks ryuji with a pipe during a thunderstorm which leads to him being very much injured but very much alive. ryuji, in an act of triumph, holds up the pipe in victory which leads to him being struck with lighting. Yes he is very salty 

A repost of a past project. I’m trying to get the feel for a simplified art/coloring style to make work on the comic easier. I drew these in anticipation for the newest Pokemon game.

I’ll definitely be drawing more of these designs, and I’m particularly happy with Ann, Yusuke, Makoto and Sophia’s designs. Their outfits are more related to the lore of their personas, and I tried to add more consistency and uniformity to their designs, so they read more as a team and functional group, while still maintaining their individual aesthetics.
