If y'all have I'm sorry but consider:

Virgil's height changes with Thomas's nerves (hence the term heightened anxiety)

Normally he's like 5'10, or Thomas's height

But when Thomas gets more nervous he gets taller, like 6'6

When Thomas is really calm he gets shorter, like 5'4

This results in a lot of stretch marks and he's kinda insecure abt them sometimes but all the other sides love him regardless

Patton is surprised the first time he sees Virgil and his dark strange son is towering over him, but eventually figures out the pun 'heightened anxiety' and has the time of his life, or when he's small Patton calls him cute and can't stop hugging him

Logan is confused at first but either eventually understands or gives up on trying

Roman either gets kinda pouty as he does because virge is taller than him or he's super into it and thinks its lit, or joins Patton in calling him cute and consequently gets into arguments with Virge but Virgil can't do anything about it bc Roman is too tall

This could also apply to Roman with his ego getting bigger maybe? Or with Patton and emotions getting heightened? Can't think of how it'd work for Logan but feel free to add on ❤
