It was nearly midnight and you heard the popcorn pop in the microwave, leaning against the counter. Waiting for it to be done. The tall man, Michael, was sitting on the floor, in his old man pajamas since you practically begged him to take a shower after he came back from his killing spree. He sat there, looking at the different genres of movies displayed in front of him. You told him to choose one while you made popcorn, looks like he didn't make up his mind yet.

He was about to choose one until a cat crawled into his lap. It was your pet cat Marshmellow. A ginger cat with big beautiful green eyes, he took a liking to Michael after a few days, but he wasn't affectionate towards him. What you didn't know was that Michael loves cats, but he didn't show it. Sure, he did give Marshmallow a few head pats but that was mainly it. You didn't know how Michael would react to it so you stood there and watched. He wouldn't hurt the cat, you knew that.

Marshmallow's big green eyes stared into the dark circles of Michaels's mask, his tail stroked the back of his hand. His charm wiggled every time he made a move. It looked like they were having a staring contest. Michael sat there frozen while Marsgmellow moved his tail back and forth. You were surprised to say the least, sometimes Marshmallow does act like Michael, sneaking up on you. Scaring you out of nowhere, maybe he's getting these things from him?

Michael then raised his hand, putting his hand on Marshmallow's head guiding it across his back and down to his tail, making the cat purr happily due to his touches. Even letting out a few meows. How cute! The microwave then beeped, the scent of the popcorn filled the air as you opened the microwave. Using the tip of your fingers to open the bag to make sure it wasn't burnt.

You coughed when the smoke got in your face, but the popcorn wasn't the burnt, that's a good thing. "Popcorn's ready!" You exclaimed, putting it into a bowl before heading over to the couch. Michael stopped petting the cat so he could chose the movie he was interacted in. He put the movie on, now sitting by you. Marshmallow jumped in Michaels lap, you nearly let out the giggle at the thought of Michael getting soft over cat. But it is possible due to how good he's treating the green eyed cats. You knew off the bat he's a cat person, he told you what he did to a dog before... which was unpleasant to say the least. You thought he'd do the same thing to Marshmallow but the shocking part was he didn't.

You thought that he just hated animals in general.  He doesn't, it just depends on the animal. Take a dog as an example... he ate a dog once before he met you. That shocked you to the core but that was back them... hopefully he doesn't do it again. It was still surprising though, even scared you a little bit but you got over it, now knowing to NEVER get a dog in Michaels's presence. Even a puppy won't phase that man.

He put his hand back over Marshmallows back, stopping when the cat let out a big yawn while stretching. If you had your phone on you you'd definitely take a picture... but in the other hand Michael would destroy your phone so it's best if you left it alone for now. Marshmallow eventually fell asleep, not that Michael mind, he could sit there for hours on end and not get uncomfortable. You’re glad that he likes your pet, and it definitely looks like Marshmallow likes him too.
