OKAY the vision for this was initially like this ^^ really cropped image of just their torsos so you couldnt see their faces and her Hand. but then i got carried away and its all there now!

i also got a lot of help for this from my artist besties (blows all of u a kiss) because i love second guessing myself. 7 + 9 = 14 yaknow. but sometimes this is good cus i did fix a lot of things. eg crowleys braids did NOT look this pretty until i redid it like 4 times. lmfao.

When he delivered the mug into his still outstretched hand (with the teaspoon of sugar Aziraphale was too preoccupied to ask for), his editor had found his reading glasses and was hunched over his laptop, already deep in Work Mode. My Roman Empire is the fact that Aziraphale said “I need you”. I know we’ve dissected it enough on here, but I think about it every day. It was his final impulse, his last cry to get him to stay.

He could’ve said “I want you”

He could’ve said “I like you”

He could’ve said “I love you, I’ve always loved you”

But he didn’t. And what he did say was so much more heartwrenching than any of those things could’ve been. He said “I need you!!”

He said I don’t just want or like or love you. I have never been without you, and I don’t know how to do this on my own, because no matter what has happened to me, you’ve always been there. I simply cannot do this without my other half, you are the most important thing in the world to me. I need you.

Ughhghhhhhgh like why did he say that it haunts me in my sleep.
