Evelyn looked at the pink dress her mom picked out for her "wedding". In truth she was getting married but not to Danny. She and Robert planed to be wed before he had to leave.

Sure it was sad for Evelyn to be in a loving relationship when he had to be ripped away for war. She cried everyday about it. But it was better than a guy 40 years older than her.
