“Welcome back, Hannah!”
The Scary Godmother TV specials and comic books were one of my favorite things to watch and read on Halloween as a kid, and they still are.
A big part of why I love monsters and the holiday so much probably stems from loving this series, and the many other Halloween stories that had the same charm~

Was at a local Boxlunch store crouched down looking through the Naruto figures to see if they had a Gaara figure I didn't (they did not), but one of the employees approached me from behind and complimented my gourd backpack.
When I turned around and they noticed my entire Gaara themed outfit they were like 'oh wow! I love Gaara too, he was one of my first anime husbands" and before I could even think I spat out "oh, well you know how like, Jesus is to Christians?" They laughed, but in that moment I was being completely earnest.
