I don't think someone is instantly a bad person if they have ableist behavior. Think about it, society is BUILT on ableism. We're all raised on that shit. There are examples of this in everyday life: 'good listening' habits that are beaten into us in school, sidewalks that are built on fucking hills, cities that WOULD be walkable had they installed more seating areas, etc etc the list goes on.

So it's almost natural to be some degree of ableist, even if you yourself are disabled, because it has been normalized through millions of things abled people probably wouldn't even notice. This doesn't excuse the behavior, but it's important to note that not every person is ableist out of malice.

Barbie was the representative for all things girly and all things pink and what it means to be a woman and what it means to be a she and a her...while also loudly declaring she has no vagina.

Like seriously do you not know what this community is about. The literal definition of queer means peculiar. Sometimes queer people are fucking weird and messy and don’t make sense and sometimes and it’s both confusing and beautiful. Some of you will literally be like “um there’s no such thing as bi lesbians” yet you still have the sheer and utter fucking audacity to be like “I love weird gays!”.

Yeah, you sure love your sanitized version of what it means to be queer. You don’t actually know what it means, you just think “lesbian means girls who like girls, gay means boys who like boys, bi means people who like girls and boys, and-“ when the entire fucking point of it is that not everyone fits into the boxes you assign them. Exclusionists can go eat a dick.

Just because you don't support certain queer identities, doesn't mean they'll stop existing. Close your eyes and plug your ears all you want, but lesbian men and mspec lesbians have always existed. Turian women and mspec gays have always existed. We will always exist, and there's no amount of history erasure, putting us on your DNIs, and harassment that will change that.

Also reminder that trying to erase queer people from society is a very queerphobic thing to do and exclusion only harms us all as a community. :3
