Since of COURSE IntSys isn't going to put the corrupted character *I* want in Heroes, I'm forced to make him myself. As usual. While I love the character design of Fates, I also found it just... mind numbingly dull in places. I mean, Takumi is a literal fucking Z O M B I E in Conquest, and the best you could do was make him pale and add some purple fire? In a game rated T? Well, aren't you creative... *slow clap* Since Gunther is not a mindless puppet of Anankos, but the actual living vessel for this eldritch god, I want to make him a little more... interesting, but trying to keep him similar to how he is in Revelation makes that difficult. I mean, if I had my way, he'd look like something out of Fraken Fran, but then he wouldn't be "Gunther", sadly...

Finally finished this! I started it back in November, but if there's one thing I'm good at, it's not finishing anything. I adore Norne, have I mentioned that? I think I mentioned that. So instead of the "default outfit but red with white trim" that seems to be the standard holiday skin, I tried to make her into something that actually ties in to the season. She's an elf! With a gingerbread bow that shoots candy cane arrows. I was planning on doing some of my other favorite characters (with inspiration from other seasonal holidays, not just christmas), but I'm the queen of procrastinating, so I can't make promises.

IS... I know you'll remake Shadow Dragon one day, I can feel it in my bones. When that day comes... Nintendo, please let 8-4 do the localization. And 8-4, PLEASE let Norne be a country bumpkin with an accent like Donnel. I can't express how disappointed I was with Mozume. That's all I want for Christmas.

It's NOT difficult, IntSys. I swear to god, if he doesn't get an official special variant next year, I'm making stripper versions of him for all the seasonal banners.

Jesus christ, thank you. I am so sick of seeing people bitch that certain ships are "toxic". Like... who on this entire planet cares? These are fictional, made up characters that fans hypothetically pair with OTHER fictional, made up characters in their minds (or on AO3), and it hurts.... absolutely nobody? Because none of the "people" involved are actual living, breathing organisms capable of feeling fear, pain, or even love. Liking things in fiction does not mean you like, want, or advocate those things in real life. In videogames, I like killing everything I can and destroying everything else. Naturally, I'm NOT a serial killer. I love the yandere character archetype, especially when they snap and kill their significant other. In actual LIFE, where things live and can suffer consequences, I'm the first person encouraging people to leave abusive, controlling relationships. The whole point of fiction is to have a platform where you can explore things that are bad, wrong, or downright impossible in reality. Shipping and writing abusive relationships (or incest coughFEfanscough) is not bad as long as you make a distinction between fiction and reality, and let's be frank, if you can't do that, the problem lies with YOU, not these types of ships.

Lol when did shipping the hero with the villain become a bad thing. Shits been happening for so long. It’s an interesting dynamic, prime for angst and betrayal and tragedy, yknow, the kinda tropes people have loved for forever? Not everything has to be sunshine and roses, and I’m not always in the mood for fluff.

Like... if he was an actual living human being, I would gladly push him under a Mack truck. 90% of the writing in TCC reads like it was written by middle aged men who fantasize that young girls fantasize about being threatened, pushed around, and treated like shit. The "romance" in these event scenarios come across like Stokholm Syndrome. I wouldn't want to meet these writers, because I'd probably end up chained to a radiator.
