Hello! Could I Request Aventurine Finding And Getting Jealous Of The Insane Amount Of Plushies His Lover
Hello! Could I request Aventurine finding and getting jealous of the insane amount of plushies his lover made of him?
I can see him hissing at those plushies đđđ I giggled a lot writing this one, thank you for the request and I hope you like it!
Warning : fluff, very fluff, Aventurine showing his true feelings because he trust the reader enough to expose his inner self đ, kissing

As you can see, Aventurine is a quite busy man and if he gets to know that you can somehow cope without his presence, he will be delighted. At first he found you making a plushie resembling his form utterly adorable. You spent your free time in your shared house customizing a doll resembling his form. His pink eyes, his fluffy blonde locks, even their outfit matches his in a simplified form!
It started at one plushie. He didnât really pay attention about how many plushies there are, but seeing you happy with it makes him content. Sometimes youâre sending him an update of what youâre currently doing with your plushie and he thinks that heâs endearing. Heâll respond with a lighthearted text such as âYou seem to have a lot of fun,â or âShouldâve been me!!â
With this in mind, he could leave you alone for one week in peace. You did tell him that youâre going to miss him so much, but being the IPC executive he is he canât possibly cancel his scheduled business trip. Along his trip you keep sending him your daily activity along with those little versions of him. He noticed that their face or type changed frequently yet he paid no mind. Maybe itâs the lighting. He did give you his card info so you probably upgrade your plushie from time to time. The only thing he wants while heâs away for work is that he badly wants to go home and reunite with you.Â
And thatâs how it hit him.Â
Finally he is able to come home safely, only to find a cat plushie with his color scheme resting on top of his shoe rack. Something is definitely off. Aventurine sneaked his way to your shared room. Are you sleeping? Usually youâre the one whoâs the most ecstatic about the date where he came home, but to his surprise he didnât get the greeting he was expecting. He quietly opens the door. There you are sleeping so peacefully while being surrounded by the unholy amount of plushies that looked like him. Youâre hugging the biggest one there, half of your face stuffed on its face.Â
An ugly green monster forms inside his heart. How dare they?!
Aventurine pouted at the sight, marching his way to the bed. As much as he despises these plushies now, he managed to patiently put them away from bed knowing you put a lot of effort into making or ordering these dolls of him. He had eventually cleaned the plushies out of your bed and he moved to the last one. The one youâre hugging so tightly. He tried to move your hand away from it, only for you to unconsciously hug it tighter. Aventurineâs frown got bigger. The dollâs beady eyes somehow mock him by how it smiles so tauntingly, just like how he always smiles in victory. It did win your attention though.Â
With renewed determination, Aventurine managed to pull your humongous plushie from your embrace. You whined in your sleep at the loss of contact. He quickly replaces the spot with himself, hugging you tightly. His pout is clearly visible since the haunting face of the doll is still clear inside his head. You woke up at the unfamiliar feeling, only to find the real thing is now replacing the fluffy one.Â
âOh? Welcome back,â at first youâre confused at his unamused face but then the moment you realize that all of your plushies are no more on top of your bed, it clicks. You snickered at the thought of him putting away your plushies.Â
âIs there anything bothering you?âÂ
âI donât like my attention divided.â
âYouâre away for so long, I need them to fill up the void!â
âWell now Iâm here so you wouldnât need them anymore,â He hugs you protectively. You found his jealous form cute, as he should.Â
âThe moment youâre away Iâve been kissing them you know, itâs your fault for not staying here-â Aventurine shushes you by kissing your lips. Heâs really jealous alright.Â
âUsing my credit to have you kissing other men seems unethical, doesnât it?âÂ
âTheyâre just a bunch of colored cotton, Aventurineâ
âIn a shape of a man,â
âAnd the man is youâ he gives you a long face, earning a hearty laugh from you.
âWell at least I have the real thing to kiss now,â You tried to calm him by kissing his forehead. It seems to work as his expression is now softened and a faint pink appears on his cheeks.Â
âWe need to put those guys away,â
âNO!!!âÂ

Someone PLEASE tip me so I can buy my own Aventurine plushie NOW I GENUINELY WANT ONE *inhumane screeches*

Pacing your Story (Or, How to Avoid the "Suddenly...!")
Arguably *the* most important lesson all writers need to learn, even for those who donât give a damn about themes and motifs and a moral soap box: How your story is paced, whether itâs a comic book, a childrenâs chapter book, a doorstopper, a mini series, a movie, or a full-length season of TV (old school style), pacing is everything.
Pacing determines how long the story *feels* regardless of how long it actually is. It can make a 2 hour movie feel like 90 mins or double the time youâre trapped in your seat.
Thereâs very little I can say about pacing that hasnât been said before, but Iâm here to condense all thatâs out there into a less intimidating mouthful to chew.
So: What is pacing?
Pacing is how a story flows, how quickly or slowly the creator moves through and between scenes, how long they spend on setting, narration, conversation, arguments, internal monologues, fight scenes, journey scenes. Itâs also how smoothly tone transitions throughout the story. A fantasy adventure jumping around sporadically between meandering boredom, high-octane combat, humor, grief, and romance is exhausting to read, no matter how much effort you put into your characters.
Anyone who says the following is wrong:
Good pacing is always fast/bad pacing is always slow
Pacing means you are 100% consistent throughout the entire story
It doesnât matter as much so long as you have a compelling story/characters/lore/etc
Now let me explain why in conveniently numbered points:
1. Pacing is not about consistency, itâs about giving the right amount of time to the right pieces of your story
This is not intuitive and it takes a long time to learn. So letâs look at some examples:
Lord of the Rings: The movies trimmed a *lot* from the books that just werenât adaptable to screen, namely all the tedious details and quite a bit of the worldbuilding that wasnât critical to the journey of the Fellowship. That said, with some exceptions, the battles are as long as they need to be, along with every monologue, every battle speech. When Helmâs Deep is raging on, we cut away to Merry and Pippin with the Ents to let ourselves breathe, then dive right back in just before it gets boring.
The Hobbit Trilogy: The exact opposite from LotR, stretching one kids book into 3 massive films, stuffing it full of filler, meandering side quests, pointless exposition, drawing out battles and conflicts to silly extremes, then rushing through the actual desolation of Smaug for⌠some reason.
Die Hard (cause itâs the Holidays yâall!): The actiony-est of action movies with lots of fisticuffs and guns and explosions still leaves time for our hero to breathe, lick his wounds, and build a relationship with the cop on the ground. We constantly cut between the hero and the villains, all sharing the same radio frequency, constantly antsy about what they know and when theyâll find out the rest, and when theyâll discover the heroâs kryptonite.
2. Make every scene you write do at least two things at once
This is also tricky. Making every scene pull double duty should be left to after youâve written the first draft, otherwise youâll never write that first draft. Pulling double duty means that if youâre giving exposition, the scene should also reveal something about the character saying it. If you absolutely must write the boring trip from A to B, give some foreshadowing, some thoughtful insight from one of your characters, a little anecdote along the way.
Develop at least two of the following:
The plot
The backstory
The romance/friendships
The lore
The exposition
The setting
The goals of the cast
Doing this extremely well means your readers wonât have any idea youâre doing it until they go back and read it again. If you have two characters sitting and talking exposition at a table, and then those same two characters doing some important task with filler dialogue to break up the narrative⌠try combining those two scenes and see what happens.
**This is going to be incredibly difficult if you struggle with making your stories longer. I do not. I constantly need to compress my stories. **
3. Not every scene needs to be crucial to the plot, but every scene must say something
I distinguish plot from story like a square vs a rectangle. Plot is just a piece of the tale you want to tell, and some scenes exist just to be funny, or romantic, or mysterious, plot be damned.
What if youâre writing a character study with very little plot? How do you make sure your story isnât too slow if 60% of the narrative is introspection?
Avoid repeating information the audience already has, unless a reminder is crucial to understanding the scene
This isnât 1860 anymore. Every detail must serve a purpose. Keep character and setting descriptions down to absolute need-to-know and spread it out like icing on a cake â enough to coat, but not give you a mouthful of whipped sugar and zero cake.
Avoid describing generic daily routines, unless the existence of said routine is out of ordinary for the character, or will be rudely interrupted by chaos. No one cares about them brushing their teeth and doing their hair.
Make sure your characters move, but not too much. E.g. two characters sitting and talking â do humans just stare at each other with their arms lifeless and bodies utterly motionless during conversation? No? Then neither should your characters. Make them gesture, wave, frown, laugh, cross their legs, their arms, shift around to get comfortable, pound the table, roll their eyes, point, shrug, touch their face, their hair, wring their hands, pick at their nails, yawn, stretch, pout, sneer, smirk, click their tongue, clear their throat, sniff/sniffle, tap their fingers/drum, bounce their feet, doodle, fiddle with buttons or jewelry, scratch an itch, touch their weapons/gadgets/phones, check the time, get up and sit back down, move from chair to table top â the list goes on. Bonus points if these are tics that serve to develop your character, like a nervous fiddler, or if one moves a lot and the other doesnât â what does that say about the both of them? This is where âshow donât tellâ really comes into play.
4. Your entire work should not be paced exactly the same
Just like a paragraph should not be filled with sentences of all the same length and syntax. Some beats deserve more or less time than others. Unfortunately, this is unique to every single story and there is no one size fits all.
General guidelines are as follows:
Action scenes should have short paragraphs and lots of movement. Cut all setting details and descriptors, internal monologues, and the like, unless they service the scene.
Journey/travel scenes must pull double or even triple duty. Thereâs a reason very few movies are marketed as âsingle takeâ and those that are donât waste time on stuff that doesnât matter. See 1917.
Romantic scenes are entirely up to you. Make it a thousand words, make it ten thousand, but you must advance either the romantic tension, actual movement of the characters, conversation, or intimacy of the relationship.
Donât let your conversations run wild. If they start to veer off course, stop, boil it down to its essentials, and cut the rest.
When transitioning between slow to faster pacing and back again, itâs also not one size fits all. Maybe it being jarring is the point â itâs as sudden for the characters as it is for the reader. With that said, try to keep the âsuddenlyâs to a minimum.
5. Pacing and tone go hand in hand
This means that, generally speaking, the tone of your scene changes with the speed of the narrative. As stated above, a jarring tonal shift usually brings with it a jarring pacing shift.
A character might get in a car crash while speeding away from an abusive relationship. A character who thinks theyâre safe from a pursuer might be rudely and terrifyingly proven wrong. An exhausting chase might finally relent when sanctuary is found. A quiet dinner might quickly turn romantic with a look, or confession. Someone casually cleaning up might discover evidence of a lie, a theft, an intruder and begin to panic.
--
Whatever the case may be, a narrative that is all action all the time suffers from lack of meaningful character moments. A narrative that meanders through the character drama often forgets there is a plot theyâre supposed to be following.

This one was a request but somehow it didn't make it to the Aventurine tag so I reposted it because I love this one :(( Thank you for reading~
PJSK CHARACTERS WATCHING THEIR S/O DIE OVER AND OVER
short desc: kinda like the madoka magica plot where homura becomes a traumatized war veteran because madoka always dies
type: bulleted hcs
characters: hinomori shizuku, mochizuki honami, kamishiro rui, shinonome ena, aoyagi toya
genre: slight angst
note: i wrote this on january 2023 and i dont remember anything so it probably sucks

@ hinomori shizuku
shizuku was completely exhausted, to say the least.
she couldnât bear the feeling of losing you and having to start over every time. having to turn the both of you into strangers again. her loving you with all her heart, and you not even knowing who she is.
even shiho, whoâs not the closest to her sister, notices her sudden mood drop, yet, uncertain of what could be troubling her, she decides not to ask.
whenever shizuku sees you for the âfirst timeâ again, she wishes she could tell you what to do to avoid your death, but she couldnât â that would only make things worse, and sheâs very well aware of that.
as much as it pains her, she can only do small things to try to change the future, for now.
âI promise you, one day, itâll be over. And when that day comes, I can finally spend my so-desired time with you.â

@ mochizuki honami
what was honami doing wrong?
she did everything, everything, to avoid that terrible fate. but it couldnât be helped â it would still happen, no matter how much she tried.
she gave her all, she devoted herself to saving you. she was trying her best, her all, to keep you safe and alive. apparently, it wasnât good enough. it was never good enough. every time, youâd end up dying in her arms. over and over.
whenever she sees you for the âfirst timeâ, she feels her heart ache. knowing that sheâll have to go through everything again and again, only for a false image of hope that maybe, maybe she could save you.
she never had the chance to tell you the words she was dying to say. even in your last moments, she couldnât bring herself to say it. ever since the first tragedy, youâve never heard the words âI love youâ from her ever again.
âOnce I can finally let my guard down, then Iâll allow myself to soften at your touch. I love you. Even if Iâm not ready to say it, I hope you know that.â

@ kamishiro rui
as much as he wanted to, rui couldnât give up. not yet. not until he saved you.
why him? why you? why you both had to be disturbed in such a manner?
in the beginning, he thought himself to be really lucky, to have the opportunity of being with you one more time. but as more time passed, he started to believe this was not a blessing â but instead a curse.
waking up, knowing that heâd try his all to save you but being aware that it all would go to waste, was extremely exhausting.
whenever he saw you for the âfirst timeâ, he could feel himself relaxing at the thought of being together with you again. having your hands run through his hair, having you laugh at his cringey pick-up lines... he yearned for that, even if he knew he couldnât have it, at least not at that time.
he watched you die over and over. eventually, death was not a new concept to him. but every time, even knowing it wasnât the first time and it wouldnât be the last, watching your lifeless body always gave him a feeling of despair.
you always called him a genius, then, why? why couldnât he come up with a brilliant plan, as youâd say, to save you? why couldnât he save the one person who stood by him at all times?
âI want to be with you so bad, but still, Iâm not able to keep you here long enough. What am I doing wrong, my love?â

@ shinonome ena
this wasnât fair. this wasnât fair at all. why did they have to take you â enaâs favorite person?
sheâd give 110% of her to keep you, even knowing that she couldnât be with you, knowing that youâd die again, she still chased after your life as if itâd be the last thing sheâll ever do.
sometimes, she couldnât help but being irritated. if only she didnât love you, this wouldnât be happening to her. she was very well-aware that this was one selfish thought, but she thought about it every now and then. despite being mad, she could never say that she regretted loving you.
whenever she saw you for the âfirst timeâ, she knew it was important to keep her distance, for your safety. despite that, she glanced at you quite often, fighting the urge to go after you.
having to be emotionally distant from you frustrated her. she watched you talk to a lot of people throughout the day, knowing that she wouldnât be one of them. after all, you were still her significant other, even if you didnât know it.
âWhy wonât you simply stay?! Damn it... I want you to be safe, be alive, be mine! And Iâll make sure it happens, even if it takes a hundred... no, a thousand times.â

@ aoyagi toya
the only thing toya wished for was for it to be over.
it was extremely tiring. heâd never do something that pains him, but he couldnât give up on you just yet. even if he has to go through the same feeling of emptiness every time, heâs willing to do it, if it means saving you.
not only that, but even his bandmates notice his sudden lack of motivation. every time, akito confronted him about that, but he never answered. he couldnât tell him the truth, heâd never believe it. it was awful to avoid his best friend, but he couldnât help it, rescuing you was his top priority.
whenever he saw you for the âfirst timeâ, you merely looking at him already made his heart flutter, as if it were before the tragedy. he loved to see you so... lively. yet, he knew he shouldnât let his guard down, as he was already aware of what would happen.
he tried his best to keep you away from danger, directly or indirectly, but none of his actions seemed to help. in the end, he always held your lifeless body, never having the chance to confess his undying love for you once more.
âIâll do everything for things to go back as they used to be. Even if it takes thousands of times, I wonât give up, not until I make sure youâre safe.â

GOD, I LOVE YOU!
DESC. just some things that akito noticed, thoughts about you and how you affected him as a person!
STARRING. akito shinonome
NOTES. i was listening to an operation true love playlist that i found on spotify and i'm going insane bc of this!!!!!! + rushed.

akito was never the type to leave practice early. in fact, he's always the last one to leave the place of his dreams, where success awaits him soon or later. but why does he find himself fleeing from his outside rehearsals for? and why does he leave with nothing but a smile and a flush on his face?
his bandmates were all in confusion and even filled to the brim with worry. hell, could i even say amazed! making the akito blush? whoever this person is, they got akito wrapped in their finger in nothing more than love.
the honest truth is, someone engraved themselves into his mind, and he really doesn't mind it.
you acted like his dream girl; someone that he sees in the future â someone that... he actually deeply loves and appreciates him.
love really changed him as a man, from endless gifts to baked compliments â he's head over heels over you. the ultimate reaction of his presents and words hit your heart slowly, how can you be so lucky?
and one thing that he can't get enough of is those kisses planted all around his face whenever you have the chance.
he'll never admit it (too stubborn to even bring it up!) but surprisingly, he'll just let his reaction speak directly to you whenever a kiss find its way towards his smooth surface of skin.
the day might have the most simplest scenario, but the way that soft, plum lips leave marks on his cheeks, which must be half-flushed by now, suddenly lifted his sprints right up to the top.
at the end, love was never a concept that akito never thought of, but because of you, he's willing to explore it with all of his might.
just for you.
