The ailuros..

(This is one of the more serious posts and a bit about the critter drawn on my pfp)

The ailuros are rather small in size are quite cat-like in terms of anatomy, they are a what some would call an “generic” brown mammal.

To me these lil fellas are no ways generic but rather special on the inside rather than out on the front, they share similarities such as basic behavior and anatomy but also differ from normal Earthen felid-like species one of these qualities are that they are peaceful in the fact that they do not go as far as to heavily compete with each other and would rather flee from larger creatures. They are omnivorous in diet feeding off of berries, fruits and small critters.

Another thing about is that their lifestyles are communal in the way that they live, living in these huge clans since they have many threats that ruled above their own heads so it is within them and important for them to be incredibly empathetic to other ailuros even going as far as to taking pets that flee into their own clans..

they are as or little more intelligent as creatures like orcas, ravens and elephants.. but besides that the ailuros have yet to reach the stage of true sapience but still retain their wild creature behavior such as fleeing and slightly basic language with only some meaning to their own tongues

they are quite soft little beings just only a little lighter than a housecat but also longer than one and their claws do not retract fully.
