Operation “Bless The Rains Down In Australia” Ritual - Jan. 10, 2010
Tonight’s ritual was a simple weather magic ritual to bring rain to Australia and help combat the wildfires. I used a printed map, a jar candle, a blue chime candle, a point of angel aura quartz, and a shot of spiced rum for Thor, who I asked for assistance with this spell. I also used voice to power the spell with a shortened version of Leslie Fish’s “Thor.” (And yes, I’m aware that I said the candle was on the western coast when I clearly meant EASTERN. I’d just sung “western” about fifty times to power the spell, you’ll have to forgive me.)
IMPORTANT: When working storm magic, it’s important to take local weather patterns into account. In this instance, I was drawing from some pre-existing systems and a tropical cyclone lingering in the area.
If you can, please spread the word and donate a few dollars to one of the charities helping Australia combat and recover from these devastating fires:

Seven of Swords.
Know that there will be challenging days. When faced with adversity, remember you do not stand alone. Find your strength within the light of a new day. Feel the protective energy of all that surrounds you. Know that you are never alone.
