what is the metric for "most boring"? why isnt there a source for this information? is there a "state boringness index" that determines the placement of each state or was it decided by the creator's personal opinion? if this were a matter of the creator's personal opinion, why wasnt this just a list? why does the color change in increments of 5 states? whats up with the numbers being assigned? is this meant to count down to the most boring states? if so, why wasnt this just a list? by what metric is california only marginally more interesting than delaware? is it a question of tourist destinations? then why are nevada and hawai'i in the middle of the list?
