"y/n, who is this?" mingyu asks while fidgeting with the photo. his voice was small, it was unusual for him but he knows that if his voice was any louder you might've feared to explain your past.
you took a deep breath and looked up at them, "he's the father of nari and kyun... he was someone who made me feel safe for a good chunk of my life." your eyes became glossy as you started to think about the past.
"he left us four years ago, he just vanished... he didn't leave a message, he didn't take his things, he didn't do anything to indicate that he was leaving... he left me to struggle for the next four years of my life." your hands began to shake and tears ran down your face, mingyu's body sunk into the sofa, vernon and seungcheol clenched their fists and jaws, and wonwoo's eyes shut.
"y/n, he's a fucking scumbag and you know that."
"i know that wonwoo, but i loved him."
you stood up after that statement and held your torso to yourself.
"it took me so long to let seungcheol and vernon in, because i was afraid. i was afraid of letting you in, just to leave me once again. you know how hard it was for me to recover from this wonwoo..."
mingyu stood up and loosely wraps his arms around you, "hey, it's okay... we aren't going to leave you." his comfort made you bawl your eyes out.
seungcheol, vernon, and wonwoo wraps their arms around you and mingyu. their warmth made you even more emotional and sensitive.
"okay okay guys, you can stop hugging me. you guys are making me sweat." you begged with a breathy tone. their arms untangled and your kids began running out to you. nari and kyun push through the men and crawl up into your arms, "mommy, why were you crying? are you okay?"
you nod happily and hold your children very close to you, wonwoo secretly puts the photo into your memory box and hid it away from the kids. mingyu, vernon, and seungcheol laugh at your kids who tried to make funny faces.
“i love you guys, thank you...”
