Ryomen Sukuna’s nose twitched as he entered your shared room with caution, his four eyes locking onto you with an intense stare. His senses, already heightened, were overwhelmed with the familiar scent of your pheromones, indicating your discomfort. The King of Curses slowly approached the bed, each step slow and calculated.

He lay down beside you with uncharacteristic gentleness, nudging your jawline with his scruffy head of pink hair. “Hey,” he muttered, his voice a low rumble. He looked up at you for reassurance, only to be met with the sight of your bright eyes clouded with depression.

His frown deepened.

Frustration simmered within him, a mix of irritation and concern. Sukuna was not accustomed to handling anyone with care, let alone in such a vulnerable state. He nudged you again, more insistently this time. “I said hey,” he groaned, his tone rougher than intended.

With these senses, Sukuna could feel every nuance of your discomfort. The irregular rhythm of your heartbeats, the tension in your muscles, the way your blood seemed to pulse more intensely. It stirred something within him, a protective instinct he barely understood.

Sukuna sighed deeply, lying down more carefully beside you. He hoped the warmth of his body might provide some comfort. “Just feel me, pretty girl,” he murmured, his voice softer now. He rested his head on your chest at an angle that allowed his lower eyes to keep watch over your face. “I’m here now.”

His presence, usually imposing and fearsome, was now a source of relief. The weight of his tattooed body, though heavy, was a grounding sensation. As he lay there, he could feel your heartbeat slowly syncing with his, your breaths becoming more measured.

He didn’t know how to navigate these emotions, how to be gentle, but he was trying. For you. In this moment, he was not the King of Curses, but simply a being sharing in your pain, striving to ease it in any way he could.
