Can I talk about how it’s cool that gender in FNV matters? I know misogyny in particular is a very uncomfortable topic, especially when it’s depicted in certain ways, but in FNV you can actually do something about it; especially in regards to the Legion. And I really appreciated that.

I’ve seen other women talk about how nice it was to be able to just kill every legionary in sight because of their misogynistic dialogue towards a lady courier; that it was extremely cathartic for them. And it’s wonderful that something can be done about it in that way!

For me personally, it’s most cathartic doing a Legion playthrough as a lady courier because not only do I feel like I’m proving all of the legionaries who look down upon my courier wrong but I also feel like I’m proving me wrong too. FNV gave me a great outlet to cope safely in this way that, so far, no other game has been able to and I’m forever grateful for that.
