Im Seriously Wondering How People Came Up Withgale Is A Condescending Prick, A Cheater, A Gaslighter,

i’m seriously wondering how people came up with “gale is a condescending prick, a cheater, a gaslighter, merely using tav, etc.” while none of those characteristics are shown in-game so far. why do so many of you have such a hard time grasping his character, i have so many questions

If it's any consolation, Abe or whatever his name is in those books canonically gets killed by another Bhaalspawn in a 5e adventure.

yeah, i know, but he is also considered the canonical CHARNAME and his death is the thing that pretty much kicks off the events of bg3, so i'm terrified he'll be this constant presence in the narrative. especially since we're getting minsc as a companion (though maybe that isn't a big deal bc minsc turned down adventuring with abdel in favor of waiting tables in athkatla lmao)

1-10 scale on how realistically ripped the bg3 companions should be, because I am very smart and I don't understand the bodies that I'm seeing in the game;

Lae'zel: She's a fighter and she favors great weapons, also that 17 strength? Please. She could snap you over her thigh like a dry twig. 10/10

Shadowheart: Her strength may not be particularly impressive, but clerics know how to rearrange someone's face just as well as they know how to keep it in place. At the very least, she could shatter your jaw with a good, solid punch. Plus she wears some pretty sturdy armor and still manages to run around just fine, that takes a lot of core strength. 7/10

Wyll: Okay so he's not very strong, but he's got good dexterity and he is a professional adventurer, one would think that's quite a bit of exercise. Does he have a six pack? Probably not. A lean build with some developed muscles in his arms makes the most sense to me. 6/10

Astarion: Skin and bones. Sickly Victorian child. I wanna feed him soup. 0/10

Gale: He's a wizard and a huge fuckin' nerd who sits around in a library all day. Where's his gut? Where's his jiggly thighs? Where's his back rolls? Make him doughy! MAKE HIM DOUGHY! 2/10

Karlach: Fuckin'... look at them. They could pick me up with one hand and spin me like pizza dough and it would be the greatest moment of my life. 15/10

Helia: Based on what little I know of Helia, probably not very ripped. Some are saying she will be a bard, some are saying she will be a druid. Either way, likely to be on the soft side but could still land a nasty kick on your shins. 4/10

Minsc: Minsc has muscles. He's got muscles on his muscles. He's got muscles on his eyeballs. 20/10
