My D.Gray-Man Noah Theory

My D.Gray-Man Noah Theory

My D.Gray-Man Noah Theory

So this came into my head when was rewatching episode 79 "Noah's Memory". During the episode Road is reading from the Bible, specifically about the great flood/three days of darkness, which was stated in series that the Noah caused. The passage states that the Lord destroyed what They created after seeing the corruption man had bought and that only Noah and his kin had survived. Road then says that Noah's hatred had not weakened in 7000 years. All while Skinn (and Wrathra) are repeating that they will never forgive God or Innocence.

Now Road doesn't imply that the passage is incorrect and she is one of the only four Noah that are knowledgeable about the history of the Clan of Noah. The other three are Wisely and the Fourteenth (both of whom, at this point, are yet to awaken) and the Millennium Earl who standing next to Road in the scene. He encourages Skinn's hatred of God, to which Road seems to agree on. Which is surprising because she says in the rewinding town arc that the Noah are the true apostles of God. The Earl has also used the terms like "cruel" and "hateful" to describe God when convincing people to call to their loved ones and unknowingly create Akuma.

My theory is that the Noah were God's chosen people but were betrayed by Them by creating the Innocence and maybe the flood too.

The reason I came up with is that the Lord created Dark Matter for the Noah so they could carry out Their commands. After some time the Noah became too powerful and either they "corrupted" those around them or God saw them as a threat to Their control. So the Lord created Innocence to counteract the Dark Matter and sent the accommodators to fight the Noah. That battle could have caused the three days of darkness. A slightly crazier idea I had was that God could has sent the great flood when They saw that the accommodators were losing as a last resort to end the Noah but Mightra had already made the Arc. In volume 19, chapter 187 it's stayed that the first Millennium Earl died fighting against the wielder of the Heart of the Innocence but the other twelve Noah survived and repopulated the world.

That's why Wrathra will never forgive God, Innocence and the Exorcists. Because God betrayed the Noah. Because Innocence is Gods weapon. Because the Exorcists are Gods warriors.

To Pass The Time In Lockdown, L Have Decided To Learn How To Make Cocktails/mocktails. Today I Made Tsukasa's

To pass the time in lockdown, l have decided to learn how to make cocktails/mocktails. Today I made Tsukasa's Grenadine and tonic from Dr Stone. It turned out really well! I made the grenadine myself, super easy btw and way cheaper. It tastes pretty good! Very refreshing and nice to look at.

This collaboration is my favourite so far! Chuuya looks so badass and fancy, Kouyou is an absolute queen and somehow Odasaku looks elegant while still keeping his scruffy charm

Kanda and Alma Headcanon

Spoilers for D.Gray-Man Hallow and the manga

(Just a heads up, I will be using gender neutral pronouns and present tense for Alma)

So I was looking at a list of LGBTQ+ characters in media and in the anime and manga section they listed Kanda Yu and Alma Karma from D.Gray-man as both being bisexual.

The more thought about it, the more it felt not quite right.

The big thing that stood out was that Alma is never depicted as having any interest in females at all. Only Kanda who is male both now and in his previous life. That would make Alma straight in their past life and "gay" now. (Now granted they did call For pretty but I don't think that means they think For is attractive.) Another thing is my impression of Alma in their current form is not a cis gendered male. My reasoning is first that Alma uses the Japanese pronoun "Boku" which, in real life is used by young or more soft spoken men, in anime is often used by neutral characters and second is Alma calls their past self me. Quote from D.Gray-man chapter 198: "I'm sure you (Kanda) will search for me as long as you live. You might discover "that person" was me, one day." This shows that Alma sees themselves as both their past self and their present self, as one and the same. Finally a quote from an interview with creator Katsura Hoshino: "I created Alma with the premise “Alma = that person” in my mind. That’s why I wanted to make them look as non-feminine as possible"

As for Kanda he loves both past Alma and present Alma so bisexual could be the right word but I'm not so sure. I think that Kanda loves Alma no matter what and just sees Alma. Pansexual fits better in my opinion.

TLDR: I think Alma is non-binary and Kanda is Pansexual.

If you disagree, I would love to hear your opinion. Feel free to message me if you don't want to post your opinion

Continuing On My Quest To Make Sure The Booze I Bought Doesn't Go To Waste (seriously Alcohol In Australia

Continuing on my quest to make sure the booze I bought doesn't go to waste (seriously alcohol in Australia is so expensive), today I made a Hot Toddy using a recipe by the YouTube channel How To Drink.

I like it. Not gonna lie the whiskey taste is strong but the bitters hit you at the end and leave a nice after taste. This is definitely for people who like whiskey. If you wanna make this use a whiskey you like. This is NOT a "let's use the cheap stuff cause you won't taste the alcohol" drink.
