someone as broken as jingliu never thought she’d have or deserve love like that which you gave her. it was something real, palpable, when her past loves hadn’t been. where there were unfeeling words of reassurance, you replaced it with real action and a tangible sense of love. she would do anything to protect you, even if it means the end of her own life.

from the very second you looked at her, she could tell you were the one. nothing, and i mean NOTHING would keep you away from her. she's crazed with a tendency to kill, that much is clear.

maybe that's partially why she wears a blindfold, so she doesn't see you with anyone else because she knows it wouldn't be pretty if she did. her sword is the only way to your heart, after all. if jingliu has nothing else, she has you to watch ever so silently from the deepest shadowy corners, assessing each one of your smallest movements. nights like these, she finally takes off her blindfold just to witness your beauty.

the sight of you makes her hand tremble on the sword she always carries with her, making her wish she had said something to you instead of silently stalking and taking some of your clothing items, jewelry, you name it. a necklace of yours is wrapped around her neck, and she's never letting it go. not until you're hers and hers alone.

i struggle with hypersomnia and i have my whole life. there is not a moment in the day when i don’t feel like falling asleep where i stand because i’m just constantly exhausted and it absolutely sucks man.

Ps this is my view of these sleeping disorders, I've had both but it still might seem different from yours since disorders are always different :)

Dealing with both of your sleep issues has always been complicated, you remeber the first time you met in class when the professor told Layla to wake you up. Since then its been a common occurrence and eventually you'd start greeting her out of class. Those little greets eventually turned into hanging out as you'd have lunch or study together. After awhile those hangouts turned into dates as you found a partner that truly made you happy.

From the start you both could tell you had some sort of sleeping issues, you always noticed the dark bags under her eyes and she noticed how often you would fall asleep in or out of lectures. Later on you finally discussed your sleeping issues as you noticed you both had the exact opposite sleeping disorders.

Despite those noticeable differences it didnt effect your relationship that much, in fact it made you happy knowing your weren't the only one having to deal with a mess of a sleep schedule.

Though that didn't mean it didn't get in the way sometimes. There'd be moments where you'd fall asleep minutes before your date which accidently left your girlfriend waiting for nothing. Other time's Layla would be to sleep deprived to remeber things important to you or things you promised to do together.

Luckily though you both managed to find ways around this. You found comfort in dates that stayed in either of your dorms or at your house depending on where you live. Making dinner and laying in your backyard star gazing was enough to make you both happy as you'd make a game of who can point out more stars.

Layla also began writing down things she noticed you liked or topics she should avoid or must remeber. She would try her best to remeber each detail or go over them before your date, her wall was cluttered with sticky notes with each one of them being about you just so she could make you happy.

In total despite your differences you both made your relationship work, it was healthy and filled with love and adoration. Despite your flaws you were both truly happy together and would work over any obstacle that you come across in your path.
