They stand in front of him, a cruel, twisted smile on their face.
"Tell me, because I've always wondered," they begin, lightly caressing Remus' face with the knife, "Can you feel the blood draining from your body?"
Remus chokes out a sob, "W-why? Why are you doing this?"
Their eyes turn dark, "I wanna see him suffer."
"Who?" Remus asks, and regrets it instantly
They stabbed him again, this time in his shoulder
"Your boyfriend." he growled, dropping the knife and walking away
Logan would find him minutes later, just on the brink of death
"Remus!" he called, a sob leaving his throat as he scooped up his boyfriend
Remus coughed, "It's okay Logan."
"No no no you can't- I can't- Remus you can't die please no." he said, crying
"I love you." Remus said, letting his eyes close
"No. Remus. Remus!" he cried out
The sides would find him hours later, sobbing and holding Remus' body close
