Hidden Tensions //Oc Based

Hidden Tensions //Oc based

The low hum of machinery filled the air in the base, a comforting sound punctuating the otherwise tense atmosphere as Sam worked in the dim lighting of the makeshift workshop. The flicker of lights from their various projects created a dance of shadows that enveloped them, and Sam was in their element—surrounded by gears, tools, and the comforting scent of oil and metal.

Though they were small in stature, their strength lay hidden—a muscle tone that came from years of combat training and survival, a strong build that was both deceiving and empowering, scars littered their toned body a reminder of what happened in the past. Their blue eyes sparkled with determination, short brown hair framing their face as they focused intently on the weapon they were modifying. It was a new bow for Aloy, one that would help her take on the upcoming threat from the Far Zenith.

Sam took a step back, admiring their handiwork, when a light knock on the door broke their concentration. Tilda stepped in without waiting for a response, her tall frame and striking presence immediately commanding Sam’s attention. The former Far Zenith member had settled into life at the base surprisingly well, her calm demeanor and sharp intellect providing insight into problems that often left the rest of the group puzzled.

“Good evening, Sam,” Tilda said, her voice smooth and confident as she leaned against the doorframe. “I hope I’m not interrupting. I was just coming to check in on you.”

“Just tinkering away,” Sam replied, a playful smile curling their lips. “You know me—if I’m not fixing weapons, I’m lost.”

Tilda stepped further into the workshop, her eyes scanning the cluttered tables filled with projects. “Your focus is impressive. Aloy says you’re making a new bow for her, is that right?”

“Yup! Trying to get it just right so she can take on the tougher machines. Better range, more power,” Sam said, enthusiasm lighting up their features. “Want to help?”

“I’d love to,” Tilda replied with a small smile that lit up her face.

They fell into a comfortable rhythm, Tilda handing tools to Sam, commenting on the designs and providing suggestions. Their camaraderie grew—Tilda’s sharp mind and innovative ideas complemented Sam’s practicality and quick wit. Yet, beneath the friendship lay an unacknowledged tension, a current that ran between them, unspoken but potent.

As hours slipped away, a casual banter transformed into something deeper—shared laughter igniting sparks that neither of them recognized. Sam could feel the warmth of Tilda’s presence, her laughter wrapping around them like a gentle embrace, a feeling they had never expected to crave so much.

“Hey, can you hold this steady for me?” Sam asked, holding a length of metal to shape it as Tilda stepped closer. The proximity sent a shiver down Sam’s spine, causing a mix of anxiety and excitement to bloom like wildflowers.

“Of course,” Tilda replied, her voice low and smooth, as she leaned over Sam, her breath brushing against their ear. “Just like that?”

Sam swallowed hard, suddenly aware of the warmth radiating from Tilda’s body. “Yeah, just like that,” they said, barely managing to keep their composure as a rush of adrenaline coursed through their veins.

With the air thickening around them, Sam’s focus wavered. Each heartbeat felt magnified, and when Tilda brushed against them, the spark ignited. It felt electric, charging the space between them with unspoken desires.

“Sam…” Tilda murmured softly, and in that moment, everything shifted. Without warning, Tilda pivoted, and in one motion, she had Sam pinned against the sturdy surface of the workbench, her body leaning against them, breath warm against their skin.

“W-what are you—” Sam stuttered, shock mingling with exhilaration as Tilda captured their gaze, those vibrant green eyes reflecting an intensity Sam had never seen before.

“Just go with it,” Tilda whispered, a smirk dancing on her lips as she captured Sam’s mouth with her own, the kiss igniting a wildfire within them.

It was powerful, consuming. Sam melted against Tilda, their body responding instinctively, hands grasping her waist as they deepened the kiss, legs automatically wrapped around Tilda's waist, breath mingling as if they were a single entity. Tilda pulled back slightly, her eyes sparkling mischievously, before trailing kisses down Sam’s neck, leaving soft, heated marks that made Sam gasp.

“Wait—” Sam protested weakly, heart racing, the weight of everything crashing down all at once. “What if Aloy—?”

Tilda paused just long enough to look up, her breath warm against Sam’s skin, a sly smile on her face. “Aloy doesn’t have to know. Not yet. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while.”

Before Sam could process the implication of her words, Tilda was already trailblazing down Sam’s neck, marking them with soft kisses and hushed whispers of admiration. Sam’s breath hitched, hands instinctively finding their way to Tilda's hair, pulling her back up to deepen the kiss once more—an intoxication they had been craving, a connection finally acknowledged.

They lost themselves in each other, the world around them disappearing as they surrendered to the sparks flying between them. Time slipped away, and it was just the two of them—lost in the moment, tangled in depths they had yet to explore.

Tilda pulled away slightly, her cheeks flush, a triumphant grin dancing across her lips. “So… this is what you’ve been hiding behind all those workshop walls,” she teased, voice low enough to send shivers racing down Sam’s spine.

“I… um,” Sam stammered, attempting to regain composure, fighting back a smile as they shrugged sheepishly. “I guess I never realized I was hiding at all.”

“Good,” Tilda said, leaning closer again, their foreheads almost touching. “Because I’d like to see more of this side of you.”

With a mischievous sparkle in her eyes, Tilda leaned in closer, leaving one last kiss at the corner of Sam’s mouth before pushing herself up and stepping back, creating distance that felt both tantalizing and cruel. Their heart thudded relentlessly in their chest, a mix of thrill and uncertainty hanging in the air.

“I should probably get back to the others,” Tilda said, glancing over her shoulder as she made her way towards the door.

“Yeah,” Sam agreed, still trying to process everything that had just happened, the way their body felt alive and electric. “Just, um… be careful with that door… it creaks.”

Tilda paused, looking back at them with a mix of mischief and warmth. “I’ll try,” she promised, her smile lingering as she slipped out of the workshop, leaving Sam breathless and exhilarated.

As the workshop returned to quiet, Sam stared at the desk, fingers brushing against the surface where Tilda had pinned them just moments before. A wave of warmth spread through their chest then down, and with a smile tugging at their lips, they knew that everything had changed.

And as Sam returned to their work, their mind raced not with thoughts of machines and weapons, but with the warmth of Tilda’s kiss, the promise of hidden desires, and the vibrant uncertainty of a new chapter unfolding between them. The world outside was still fraught with danger, but for now, within the walls of their little sanctuary, they were more than warriors—they were two people ready to redefine what it meant to fight for something beyond survival.

Lovely partner Wanda x Reader x Vision

"Y/N?" Looking away from the setting sun, the colors always looked so beautiful, like water painting swirling together. "Mmh?" My eyes trailed over my partner, vision, who was holding out his hand to me. "care for a dance?" getting up from the seat by the window, I placed my hand in his. the warmth of his hand seems to travel up my arm, pulling me further into his body. Soft music began to play, my arms circle his shoulders. His around my waist, head on top of mine. "What is going on inside that pretty mind of yours?" So, he knew, a few things had been on my mind today. "A lot, nothing bad but i just been thinking about some stuff." Vision nods, he knew to not ask on, he knew I would tell him on my own time.

Hearing the door open, the both of us looked up seeing Wanda come in. "Hello sweet cheeks!" A bright smile came to my face, Vision himself was enjoying the sight of me smiling I could tell. Leaning against my tall red android, his arms around me. Wanda rushed over to us, crashing into vision and then into my shoulder, a deep sigh leaving her lips. "Are you alright, my love?" Visions voice held concern, his hand cupping her cheek, lifting her head. "Just I... I just want some peace and quiet away from the whole superhero doing but..." taking hold over her hands, leaning to her, kissing her forehead. "then... then you and Vision go watch a movie and I will set something up to. And no I will not over do it, just leave it to me alright?" Vision and Wanda looked at one another but agreed.

Everything was set up, made easy dinner, made the bed look comfy, placed out some of Wanda's favourite smelling candles and pulled out Visions favourite feeling blanket. Wanda and me found out that Vision liked the feeling of different kind of objects. Wanda had gotten him the blanket, he immediately told us it was his favourite blanket. Taking a deep breath, my eyes shot over to the night stand. 'you got this!' I quickly ran a hand through my hair, pulling on my most comfy pjs before i pulled out Wanda's and Visions most comfy pjs, rushing into the living room. "Pull these on and wait outside our bedroom." Looking down at the pjs they nod, as I quickly rushed into the kitchen and putting everything on the plats.

Now everything was set, hearing the two shuffle outside the door I rushed over, turning off the light before opening the door. A gasp left Wanda's mouth as she saw the fairy lights hanging of the high ceiling, the soft glow of the candles making it look like a the most comfortable place on earth. "My lady, My lord." Both of them chuckled as I bowed holding out my hands for them to take. "Y/N! this is amazing, thank you-" "Sssh it's not done yet." Wanda giggled but took my hand, Vision with a soft smile, did the same. Leading them over to the bed, telling them to make themselves comfortable. Turning on the tv, soft music began to play, Vision immediately recognised the song. "It's the song we met you on." A grin pulled on my lips, as I placed the food in front of the two. "you don't have to eat but i didn't want you to feel left out." Softly bumping my forehead to his. "Thank you my dear." A kiss to the cheek and we went to eat.

We quickly finished, Wanda and Vision had move on to slow dance in the middle of the room. Me just laying on the bed enjoying the sighed before me, having already taking a photo of it for later in the scrapbook. Taking a deep breath, i closed my eyes, just basking in the moment, enjoying the music, the shuffling of feet and the soft humming of Vision. Feeling the bed dip, i opened one eye, seeing Wanda leaning over me with the softest smile. "Hello, sweetcheeks." leaning down, Wanda softly kissed me. Her lips where slightly dry but that must have been of the stress of work, but they didn't feel any less pleasant. A deep and pleasant sigh left my nose, running a hand through her hair. "Did I give you what you wanted? even if it only lasted for tonight." Wanda lowered herself to lay next to me, head on my shoulder, Vision joining her side, pressing himself against her back. Hand draped over her waist and onto my stomach. "Yes, thank you so much Y/N."

Forgetting all about what I had planned more the night came to an end, the three of us had fallen a sleep. Vision and I curling around Wanda, like she was the most important person in the world. Visions arm was draped over Wanda to hold my hand, Wanda was on her back, head slightly leaning to Visions side. I was the first to wake, and it made me creep out of bed and the room. Making breakfast, I slipped back into the room, seeing Vision and Wanda softly talking to each other. Visions eyes lighting up seeing me coming back into the room, Wanda looking over seeing the big tray in my hands. With a wave of her hand the tray was lifted from my hand and flew over to the bed. climbing back into bed, the three of us enjoying breakfast. the rest of the morning it was just us and the soft music dancing around the room.

'It's now or never Y/N' leaning over Vision to pull a small box out of the nightstand, I held it in my hand. "I..." Looking down at it, I took a deep breath, looking up the two. My heartbeat went up, feeling my cheeks get red, I quickly looked away. "I made you this. To.... I..." hands grabbed hold of my cheeks, turning my face to look at Wanda. "Take your time sweetheart. no need to rush it." Looking into her eyes and then a quick flick to Visions eyes. They held so much warmth, this was so much. "I love you both a lot, and I wanted you to have this. I made this so a way to... to ask you if you would m-... I.." Tears beginning to fall, this was to much, I was ready to just run. Vision made me snap back, hands taking hold of my own. "Deep breaths." Taking those deep breaths, I whipped my face on my shoulder as not to let go of Visions hands. the box resting on my lap, leaning my face into the hand that was still holding my face. "Will you marry me?" slipping my hands out of Visions, I opened the box showing the two a ring with 3 stones, each a different color. Once yellow to represent Vision, one red for Wanda and one y/f/c stone to represent me.

"They are lame a-" Vision leaned forwards, trapping Wanda against my chest, his lips connecting with mine. A surprised noise leaving my lips, he was almost never to one to go and kiss Wanda or me. "I... I love them." Taking the bigger one, he slipped it on. Wanda slightly pushed against Visions chest. "Ah! sorry, my dear." Smiling she shock her head, taking one of the rings slipping it on. "I love it as well, Y/N" Happy tears fell from my eyes as i pulled them both into a hug. Vision taking hold of the last ring, slipping it onto my finger. Wanda with a grin pulled the three of us back onto the bed, laughing as we hit the bed. "Thank you for everything, Y/N. i could ask for a better partners then you and Vision." Wanda rolled over me, pushing me closer to Vision, who in return wrapped an arm around me. We got settled again, softly talked to one another about what the future might bring.

A ritual to remember!

Taking a deep breath, the VIP pass around their neck, standing a the front, a small nervous smile was on their face. First time going to the ritual and on top of that winning a VIP pass, their stomach feels like it wants to rip their body apart. Trying to calm themselves down, they were let in first with some other VIP people so they could stand at the front. Big bonus for them as they weren't on the taller side, taking another deep breath, they weren't standing in the middle more of to the side as they always have loved the way the ghouls play their instruments, nothing against papa, they just don't want to hold his hand. They were way too shy for that. As the rest of the people started to come in the security kept a close eye on the one that had the VIP badges, and stopped anyone who tried to push them back.

A big grin appeared on their face as Ghost came onto the stage, yelling out to them, they bounced on their feet. The excitement finally spilling over and small tears spring to their eyes, a laugh bubbling from their throat. The first notes hitting their ears, they danced to their heart's content, many would say why wouldn't they record everything? Because they lived the moment, laughing if Dew did something funny, becoming bashful if Swiss leaned back in front of them. When Cirrus kneeled close to them a happy laugh left their mouth, slightly leaning over the fence, Cirrus noticed them, the big grin was addicting to look at. Leaning over to them, they took a deep breath, pulling a black rose from their little coffin-shaped bag, holding it out to her. Her grin dropped to a shy little smile, Cirrus grinned her solo ending as she happily took the flower from the person holding it out to her.

"Thank you, darling!" "Always a pleasure, Cirrus!"

Holding the rose close to her, she skipped back to her place, the other ghoul's eye trailing behind her, the rose being noticed in her hands. As the show went on, Sunshine happily skipped over to the person, Tambourine in hand, taking a seat at the edge, looking at them. A laugh leaving them, they pulled out another rose, leaning to her. Sunshine grinned, hopping down, rushing over to them, leaning down to show them they could put it in her breast pocket. With slightly trembling hands, they put it in, Sunshine taking hold of their hand. A deep blush set on their face, that quickly turned even redder as Sunshine kissed the back of their hand. She let go, waving, off she goes back onto the stage, they themself looking down at their hand. Quickly shaking their head, they laughed quickly letting themself down back into the music.

Knowing Rain was shy, they called out his name after making up their mind, they wouldn't even remember them after this night. As he looks down, he softly smile, their doe-like eyes were looking up at him with such happiness. He reached down, onto one of his knees, taking the rose from the smaller human, smelling it, tucking it onto the guitar strap, giving them a nod he continued playing. Letting his eyes fall on the small human, seeing them having a blast, headbanging, just fully enjoying themselves. He has seen a lot of faces, but theirs stuck out, the happiness on their face felt contagious, and he happily lingered at that side of the stage just to keep an eye on them. Someone behind them didn't seem to be all too happy to have them steal their attention.

Cumulus softly whispered to her sisters, asking who the one was that gave them their rose. Sunshine beamed at the question, telling about this cute person all the way at the front, all dressed up and looking super good. They were really free looking, enjoying the ritual to the max, telling her she should see their smile. So when Sodo and Aether had their guitar solo, she moved around, eyes trailing over the waves of fans, who she happily waved at. When she saw them, their eyes seem to almost sparkle in the light, they seem to snap out of their stare, scrambling to pull out a rose from their ever-so-cute bag. Holding it out to the ghoullet, who happily grabbed it from them, lifting it to her nose, taking a smell. They smelled so fresh but with a hint of, if she would guess, the stranger in front of them.

"You are doing absolutely amazing, Cumulus!!" Slightly taken back before she springs back in, bowing her head, a playful smile peaking right under her mask. "Oh, how you spoil me, little human!"

Seeing them turn red, she skipped back to her sisters, who were looking at her with happy eyes. Telling them how cute they were and how they turned red as soon as she talked back to them. When Mountain slightly injected asking them what was happening, the 3 women laughed, filling him in. Telling them he thought it was very cute of the person but to keep their head in the ritual, the 3 of them just waved him off.

Aether and Sodo walked over to their side of the stage, messing around with each other, guitar picks were thrown, middle fingers were as well but they laughed it off. But to be fair they were defiantly looking for the mysterious rose giver, when Aether hit Sodo on the shoulder, his eyes already found the person. When he stared down at the person, slightly tilting his head, they ducked their head down. Seeing them fidged with the roses, Sodo stomped his feet, making them look up at the two ghouls, eyes wide. Quickly holding out the roses, Sodo took the roses from them, a small low growl leaving his chest. Handing Aether his, Sodo put his between the tub and his mask, and Aether himself put it in his breast pocket, happily continuing the show.

As the ritual slowed down, the break coming up, people began to pile out to get something to drink, but they stayed pulling out a small bottle of water and downing it quickly. They knew they could just leave as they would be put at the front with their VIP badge, unknown to them eyes were watching them. The glimp of the Vip badge made her grin, her sister right behind them.

"They are so cute! It is so sweet of them to bring roses!" Sunshine called out but Cumulus hushed her as she saw the little human pull out their phone, pointing it at the stage and taking a quick photo, before turning their back to the stage, a selfie was taken. Something to remember their night by, before the show starts up again and they couldn't do that anymore. "They seem to be alone, how curious." Cirrus hummed out, Cumulus nods, eyes trailing over the person before they got called to come to the back as they would be starting up soon again. Sunshine quickly peak her head around, making eye contact with the human, making them jump in their spot. Giggling, she waved at the shocked person, recovering they laughed waving back. Before Sunshine quickly got pulled back, another laugh left their mouth, having an idea what just happened. A low growl left Cumulus mouth, holding Sunshine by the back of their collar.

"Sorry, I just really wanted to see them again!"

Cumulus just drops them back to their feet, telling them to get ready. The light turned down as they walked back onto the stage, the room full of people again. As the ritual went on, they were living every second of it, jumping, dancing, and singing along to their hearts' content. When Papa held onto a girl's hand, the crowd went wild, Swiss, now that everyone was focused on Papa, looked down at the person who was giving everyone flowers. Seeing the biggest smile on their face, sweat rolling down the side of their face, hair pushed back. As Papa let go of the girl's hand, he kneeled down in front of them. Reaching a hand out of the crowd hoping they would look at him. He was lucky, they turned to him, their smile dropping, a shy smile replacing it, but he saw them hold the rose. So as the crowd touched his hand, they waited for a little bit, soaking in the moment before placing the rose in his hand, trailing her fingers over the palm of his hand. A small shiver ran up his spine, this tail tightened around his own leg, before he pushed himself up and continued the show.

As the end draws closer, they felt like they could just lay on the floor and die. Never in their life had they used so much of their energy, also their throat ached but that is to no one's surprise.

"Ah a small message to the little ones that got the VIP badge, don't forget to come to say hello after the show~ I might even give you something extra~!"

Rolling their eyes with a smile on their face, as the crowd went wild, still having 2 roses left, they tried to look around for Papa to get close to give it to him. And they did, Papa noticed them holding out the rose, so asking the security to let them move closer to the stage. So with the help of two big men, they got pulled over the fence, they were more than surprised, as papa took a seat at the edge of the stage. They walked over to him when the lyrics began to creep up on what they meant again.

"Just wanna be Wanna bewitch you in the moonlight Just wanna be I wanna bewitch you all night."

Holding out his hand, they stepped closer, placing the rose onto his palm, slightly bowing to him. A grin sprang to his face, pulling them close.

"It keeps on giving me chills But I know now I feel the closer we get To the last bow"

Standing on their tippy toes, they grin back up at him, and with a boost of courage, they kissed his hand. Slipping out of his hold, they quickly rushed back to the crowd who went absolutely wild. People helping them back over the fence, Papa was still singing but the surprise was seen on his face. And so 2 songs later the ritual came to an end, the members all standing next to each other.

"Mountain!"

Looking over to the person, they grinned and threw the rose up to him, luckily for them he caught it, giving them a nod of a thank you. the room became more and more empty, the person themselves were left alone in the big room. Taking some quick last pictures and a small video of them placing their phone on the ground the camera turn to the stage as they pose in front of it, telling the camera it was a night to remember. The security guys quickly posed in the background, making them laugh, thanking them as they walked out of the room. Remembering they were allowed to go see the band in person, they quickly make their way over.

Taking in a deep breath, they were let in the room as the last person came out with a big grin, wishing them to have fun. Stepping in, rubbing together their sweaty hands, taking another deep breath, they saw all the members.

"There is the black rose!"

Cirrus called out rushing over to them, she already saw how nervous they were. The other ghouls quickly to join their side, all taking their turns to thank them personally for the rose, until Papa took hold of their hand. Looking up at him, the soft blush on their face but the bright smile made him happy to see they were enjoying themself.

Of course, it was a ritual to remember, not only for themselves but for the band as well.

----

Sorry for any grammar mistakes, I do still hope you enjoy reading this. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Ghost lore so if any of the ghouls feel a bit ooc let me know. I really want to know more about their past but I just don't really know where to look. anyway, thank you so much for reading!!

I love the snow

“Love please come back inside!”

Looking over your shoulder, seeing Pantalone standing in the opening of the big doors. You were knees deep in snow, the biggest grin on your face as you just kept playing in the snow.

He had taken you back to snezhnaya for some time away, enjoying his ‘days off.’ Which weren’t days off he kept working but now with you sitting next to him on couch. The warm fire roaring in the background, and you curled into his side with a good book or a puzzle book in hand.

But right now you were outside playing the the fresh snow that had fallen during the night, laughing as you stumbled and threw up snow. Even if Pantalone didn’t enjoy you being in the snow the scene in front of him did bring a smile to his face.

“A few more minutes, my love! I promise!”

You laughed out, head thrown back as you enjoyed the snow that you had thrown up softly falling down again. Smiling as you moved around a bit more before your tripped and went down laughing before sitting up.

Slowly standing back up, slightly wobbly on the legs you made your way back to the mansion and right into Pantalones arms. Smiling right up at him, rosy cheeks and bright eyes.

“Let’s get you out of the clothing and into something warm, my love.”

Kissing your cheeks, laughing at how cold your cheeks were softly nuzzling his nose against your cold cheek. A chuckle left your lips before turning your head and kissing him. He let you back up to your shared bedroom, helping you undress, he couldn’t help himself and kiss your bare shoulders hands on your hips. Before he dressed you in one of his black blouses, which in turn was way too big on you.

Dragen you back towards the couch, pulling you to his side but you grinned and climbed right onto his lab leaning down to kiss him. A small blush coming to his cheeks but happily kissed you back, hand sliding up onto your hips and your buried into his hair.

“I love you but I love the snow as well.”

“Oh love the let me buy you snezhnaya and more.”

He softly sigh into your mouth, a small high pitched whine left him as you pulled at his hair.

“But all I could ever wish for is right here under me, making the loveliest of noises.”

You softly teased, kissing him again as the snow started to fall again behind the two of you. Enjoying each other’s presents and the fire in fireplace.

Comforting Hands Dragon age Inquisition Cole x Hurt reader (TW Suicidal thoughts)

Looking out over the frozen lake, the cold stone kept me awake as I sat on the railing, my head leaning on my knee that I had placed on the railing the other swing off the edge. A small yawn left my mouth, small tremors of pain running up my arm and down into my body, the hole in the sky softly flashing. Tears in my eyes seem to freeze in place of the cold, but I just listened to the wind around me, feel it against my skin, my cheeks feel warm.

"Mind full, pain overwhelming but yet not, death on the mind but stays for those around. thread ready to snap trying to keep it strong."

"Hello, Cole."

"You hurt but I only felt it now. How? how can I just..."

"I hide, just like how you hide to help."

Hands grab hold of my hand, but I kept on looking at the view, when my eyes fell down. My mind wanders to what could be, hand takes hold of my face turning it to him. A pretty much expression less cole was now looking at me with a pleading expression. Softly smiling I ran my free hand over his cheek and up to push his hair out of his face. My hand fell back to his cheek, him leaning into the touch, pulling on my hand trying to get me off the railing and back inside. A deep sigh left my mouth, but followed the spirit inside. Only pausing at the doorway, giving the view behind me one last look, tears falling.

"Sorry."

He stepped closer to me, pressing his forehead against mine, rubbing his nose against mine, a silent sign of that it was fine. Letting my head fall to his shoulder, my own sobs being the only thing heard in the room. It seemed colder inside than it was outside, almost like there was no one to return to after a battle, a trip to help the Inquisition. Pulling back, my eyes trailed over Cole's face, biting my lip as it trembled, trying to hold back more tears.

"Afraid to lose, the be alone, to only see darkness. I won't leave you, I promise."

Pulling me close to him, he picked me up and walked over to the bed, laying me down joining me in bed. He pulled me into his chest, arms tightly around my body, face in my hair, my own in his neck. Soft words worked away the thoughts, hands turning over my back into my hair, lips pressed against my hairline. Words turned to hums, trying to make me join, a small broken chuckle left my throat. I did, joining his humming with my rough voice, blanked pulled to our shoulders, the room warmed up.

"Thank you so much, Cole."

"Always here, never leave, promise me."

"Always here, never leave."

As he hugged me, I pushed my face into his neck, a small laugh left me. Cole will always stay dear to my heart, please don't leave me, ever.
