Alright so Leshy is up next but i have a question(s) for the general fandom concerning him.

In short, what is the consensus on the pre-Narinder betrayal face/eyes situation with him? Like, eye in the center of face? Eyes on side only? The blood stain on his bandages implies that where his mouth seems to be now (going off purged version and eldritch i suppose) is where the injury is centered, thus eye socket, but then, how mouth? And the Leshy's Eye relic? Should it kinda just be put in the "unintentional plot hole" category along with others like Shamura's whole skull being out?

I dunno, im just trying for a good early Leshy design while sticking to what makes the most sense story/canon wise. A bit more discussion below.

Like, from this sorta standpoint it would make sense for no eye to have ever been there. But then, as the wiki states as well, it doesn't make sense that he has his eyes in his eldritch form.

Yeah so i jumped on the "Butcher Vanity" wagon, but i haven't seen a single one with our (likely) cannibalistic famine deity.

I did get off track at some point and went more horror with it, and i will admit that the song did instill several headcanons into me regarding Heket here, but im actually quite pleased with this for the most part.

Now that Gravity Falls is back in spirit so is my several year old interest in it. Bought the Book of Bill, been having a time thinking about the lore implications.

Hm, if i had to say, my favorite thing about him is simply the depth of story possible with him. He's been through alot story wise, so theres endless room for imagining scenarios of what he's done/experienced!

Actually, actually...no, my favorite thing about this guy is the horror of his story. The idea of some eldritch being offering a faustian bargain to someone, something never meant to break its protocol of simply doing what everyone else like him is supposed to do. I've heard the "Weird cup" analogy before, that if a cup suddenly decided it didn't want to say, hold liquid, it'd be a weird cup, and subsequentially be ostracized. Furthermore on the horror, the whole eldritch madness perspective on him (i presume) having caught a glimpse of the light world. The "ant seeing the world as a human, then becoming an ant again" post comes to mind. Probably a niche reference. Anyway, yeah, a combo of the two then, they go hand in hand for me.

Least favorite, hm...can't say i have a specific "least favorite" thing about him, but i'll be thinking on that. He's been my main thinking character since ch2 came out, but i haven't really found a specific thing to hate i guess.

Recently, scenarios i've imagined about him have been focused on either his big shot era descent, or a begrudging reunion with the addisons from the street he first advertised on (thats for a later post). His BS era allows for a sort of psychological horror situation, his building paranoia over the idea that he'll be outed as a fraud, his slow change from just a weird addison to something that shouldn't exist digitally at all, half physical machine, half program even. The realization that he's alone in his thoughts, no one else has wanted to be someone else, they couldn't imagine being "something else", and that he's the single weirdest cup they've ever met.

And the addisons, the closest thing he had to actual friends, if only for a few years before he started his ascent. They've sorta experienced his whole arc firsthand, at least one of them must have stepped out of their protocol to go check his apartment at the manor. Maybe his actions leaked over to them, a secondhand smoke from a burning building that they couldn't help but breathe in. Maybe in a hushed voice, a meeting at the cyber grill, one of them would tell them that they want to know what he's seen. Like shrimp colors, cones of vision unpercieveable to anyone but him, "but can you describe its form?"

" What could you have seen, been told, experienced, to cause all this?"

"And, can i see it too?"

Aaaanyway, i got very off track, i tend to get a writer-y when i go on rants like this, so, sorry about that. I hope this is a fun read at least!
