Marigold Werewolf Wedding Idea

Uh.... Jeez its been a while since I did one of these, but I had an idea and had to put it in.

I really wanted to change the werewolf wedding situation, since a lot of it irked me. It was just super uncomfortable for me.

So I reshaped it. Here's how it starts off:

The werewolf king is looking for a spouse for his son, and they cannot be a werewolf due to him wanting to fulfil a prophecy. And there aren't many kings down for letting their heir marry a commoner.

Eventually he hears from Michi that the adoptive mother of a lord (and ex lord) has returned and is unmarried. While Phoenix Drop isn't exactly a well respected village, I don't see this stopping him. In fact, he believes this fact makes it more likely that they'll accept.

They invite Aphria to their castle asking to speak business. She brings along Laurance and Katelyn as her guards, as they were heading off to attend to other matters and were willing to take pitstop on the way. When she inevitably turns down the proposal, the king gets... violent and traps them there, threatening her guards and her people. Fenrir seems willing to assist at first, as he also doesn't want this marriage, but eventually gives in to his father and helps him prevent their escape.

Eventually they attempt to do physical harm to Aphria to prevent her from leaving and Laurance snaps. We all know where this goes from there.

Is this the guaranteed route I'm going to go with it? No, I may scrap this idea. But I never really saw a point of turning them into Meif'was and actually really disliked the continuous "woah what happened to you?" comments regarding their new forms. If I want Meif'wa involvement I'll implement Kanna into this arc somehow.

Zenix totally would have set fire to the Lord's house if he thought the Lord crossed a line with Garroth. It wouldn't have unlocked his full Shadow Knight abilities because he didn't care about Lord Malik in the slightest, but it would have helped with the Calling. Fire takes the edge off the odd homesickness and inexplicable urges he feels when he looks at Garroth.

... If i remember correctly she does end up going on a fun little trip on her own later in the series, doesn't she?
